    New models incoming

Looking at the models more closely now on a proper big screen, and having a look at the book, I am now unsure if that is even supposed to be a heavy bolter. The only heavy bolter on the Ironkin roster is mounted on the Vartijan Exo-Driller, nobody else has native access to one for unfathomable...

No, for some reason bolt shells aren't caseless, they just carry their own fuel source, all bolt weapons have ejection ports, some even on both sides. That is weird , but the RPG round thing, to my not very gun-educated mind, makes vague amounts of sense. It eliminates things like bullet...

    New models incoming

Yeah, those Squats are a tiny bit annoying me. Why? Because now that I almost finished my heavy bolter conversion, they go and create a kit with a heavy bolter. Oh well, rock and stone to the bone, they got me on board with that one. The Aranthius stuff looks cool, but I barely followed all that.

Well, not necessarily the Necromunda community, of course. But it would probably piss off the greatest possible amount of people. Shouldn't have bought a cheap spare paw off of that Jokareo then.

Calling it now: GW does the monkey's paw thing, the community gets what they want, and it's ash waste Exodites.

    Oktober '25 FSYC Submissions Thread

Lest I forget to post in my own thread...again, I'm putting up what I did in Oktober and what I forgot in September (did fiddle with the bases a bit, so I guess it counts).

Necromunda The ballad of how I lost my mind and decided to paint a ton of stuff

Half my classes have extremely fancy digital chalkboards, the other half still uses the same black-green slate monstrosities that I spent my teenage years staring at. We do have modern projectors in every class, so I do a lot of stuff on the laptop, but I like drawing on the blackboard to...

It is, and there's a corresponding golfer's elbow, depending on whether you damaged the nerves on the outside or inside of the elbow.

Necromunda The ballad of how I lost my mind and decided to paint a ton of stuff

Remember that rhino I posted a while ago? Yeah, I finished that now after being stuck on painting a rocket launcher tube for several weeks for reasons I cannot quite fathom. This unstuck the whole build and I plowed through it in two days: What's next? Good question, probably a trip to the...

Necromunda The ballad of how I lost my mind and decided to paint a ton of stuff

Still got a few Squat things to build and paint, and I'm slowly but steadily (and very fittingly) plodding through that. It would be faster going if I didn't constantly get sidetracked by conversion ideas. I went and took the inexplicable heavy flamer bit from the Ironhead weapon sprue, which...

    What's on your mind?

I love that the passage of time has brought us into soup season again. Specifically pumpkin soup. Made a large batch of pumpkin/sweet potato soup in yesterday, and roasted some bread with it. And on the subject of raclette, that used to be a Christmas/New Year's tradition in my family. And if...
