N18 Venator Gang skills - Psyker bounty hunters gangs.

I am aware of the Psi-syndica but that, if memory serves, requires the Venator gang to go Outlaw and that will prevent them from being able to sell captures gangers to the Guilders, which is a huge bummer seeing that hunting bounties it is their forte.

N18 Venator Gang skills - Psyker bounty hunters gangs.

Hey lads, the question is the following: Can you choose a psyker skillset for your Leader or Champions? Asking because the lore background describes some such gangs and I am curious if the current rules allow it.

    N18 The average Necromundan's diet.

I thought Kuru and other prion diseases only affected those who ate nervous tissue, and that as long as you avoided the brain and such you were fine but it seems not! Good to know! Not that I had any culinary plans I swear! I understand how much bothered you must be knowing the subject so...

    N18 The average Necromundan's diet.

I wonder what sort of critters that World Sump sea/ocean on the Necromunda's map might hold. I also wonder if Tyranid organisms are edible, even if the bullet-resistant carapace kind of suggests they are not easy to chew!

    N18 Dual pistols and melee

I've given it thought and I agree with you now, @TopsyKretts. It is the only natural consequence of getting huggy with a guy armed with an automatic weapon after all!

    N18 Boning Swords

I feel as all of the above. If anything it should either lose the D2 or the Parry ability, especially this last one seeing how not every sword is apt at parrying. Try doing that with a saber or a scimitar, which are closest things in reality to the boning sword of the CGC. Not saying it is not...

    N18 Corpse Grinder Naming Conventions

Consider it this way: 1) Your gang, your rules! I have an acrobatic troupe of Goliath gangers in mind who will put every ounce of their being in becoming the best athletic entertainers the Hive has ever seen! Too bad their only worth-while number is making ballon animals out of those who do not...

    N18 The average Necromundan's diet.

With the addition of Corpse Grinder Cults, it would be as if corpse starch is an enough prevalent element to the average Necromundan's diet as to validate the presence of so many Emperor-damned butcher maniac gangs, but I feel we are missing the whole picture here. Simply put you cannot...

I am laughing here with that "Vegan Steve" name.

    N18 Dual pistols and melee

I meant unbalanced as what with happened with Mordheim and wielding two weapons in combat, that it was so advantageous that everybody and their dog were using that option, and unbalanced in the sense that a close combat beast like a Goliath ganger could easily be downed by something puny like a...

    N18 Dual pistols and melee

Just a quick question: Is the Rapid Fire rule applied to close combat? I think it should because it makes sense that an automatic weapon would do (horrifying) wonders in close quarters. On one hand it totally destroys the game's balance, but on the other it really is the reason why submachine...

    N18 Dual pistols and melee

If I am not mistaken, and I have not read the posts preceeding mine, here is how it goes: Pistols only allow to allocate a single attack dice. It is only logical to assume that if you have two pistols, each pistol gets a single attack dice, and any other attack above that? Are considered unarmed...

N18 Hangers on on home turf

Consider the following: On Home Turf scenarios your crew is not precisely on their toes as they would be somwhere else, somewhere far more important that is open to the greed of enemy gangs. If they were guarding a mineral outcrop out on their lonesome it would make sense that all hands on deck...

Hive Scum and Bounty Hunter's equipment

Okay let me get this straight and clear for the last time. Am I supposed to pay for the equipment of Hive Scum and/or Bounty Hunters when I hire them? It doesn't make any sense considering these sorts are hired guns, not people that you deck out for a fight but rather selling their service...
