Haha I actually have to agree 😂 Was maybe a bit extreme.
Perhaps the best way to look at it, underpowered as it may be vs cost, is that it's essentially an ammo type and you need to buy dum dum's for each stub gun if you have two, at least that's my understanding from how the weapons lists are...
It can be argued that "any" creates a plural, for example: Here is some shoe polish, you can apply it to any shoe you are wearing made of leather.
By this reasoning if we are wearing a pair of shoes we can only apply the shoe polish to one shoe as it is singular.
If both shoes are leather we...
I'm not sure it does only apply to a single weapon, this is the entry for gaseous ammo -
"A fighter equipped with Gaseous Ammo can apply its effects to any weapon they are equipped with that has the Gas trait during the pre-battle sequence"
Toxic ammo states the same wording replacing gaseous...
I agree with CaptnM, although I thought Death Maidens were M 6"?
The leader from my last gang ran with a power sword/stiletto sword combo and used to steamroll combats, when you think a Death Maiden starts with a better WS any two swords will be a fun combo.
What I will add is don't forget...
Good job getting Orlocks up so fast!
I noticed Escher (Hob) Smoke grenade ammo for grenade launcher missing for Queen (Leader), Matriarch (Champion) and Ganger (Specialist).
I would think so but it does grant the re-roll as a trait of the weapon. As re-roll isn't a trait in itself and the name doesn't impart special rules you could go either way. Was more of a for completeness feel as it is giving the weapon special rules.
Could there also be a "Master Crafted" special rule to add on in the custom section? This would then highlight on the gang card that the weapon itself gets a re-roll.
Custom weapons profiles are not appearing on fighter cards. They only go in as a piece of wargear, is this intended? Is it also possible to add master crafted as a weapon trait?
Edit: The profiles popped up about 10 minutes after I posted. So sorted! :D
I don't think it was conceived with them adding campaigns as an after thought. I think the issue is that it's been well balanced as a skirmish game and as such has better tournament rules however it doesn't necessarily carry over to some of the campaign mechanics.
The new rulebooks also add...
There doesn't seem to be any of the Photon Flash Grenades for the grenade launcher in the trade post and the Escher Phyrr Cat has no rarity (should be 12). Thanks :)
Seems like a fair assumption, although I couldn't see a "blinded" status mentioned in the new rule book and it makes no mention of a counter. I also have no "blinded" marker in the gang war box. Could you quote a page in the rule book?
I would argue that with smoke and template weapons it says...
But there we are comparing them to gangers as the limit on heavies was 2? If we look at a juve Vs a ganger then you get to advance them cheaper (depending on stat) and they cost less than half the price to start. If anything we could say they are cheap specialists that gain group activation if...
I do agree they should be more than glorified bomb rats but it's a use. To become a "custom" champion we have to look at value. For a 20c fighter to become a 95c fighter (I play Escher curently so let's ususe those costs) you theoretically need 70c worth of advancement. However to bring the juve...
Just watch two of the gangs in my campaign battle. The Orlock player spent his juves lowly 3xp so as to give him an advance (int I think) just to give him the blasting charges in his stash. The Delaque player hit the lights, The juve moved in to 3" and dropped bomb. This took out a fighter and...
Hired guns are purchased before scenario selection according to the pre battle sequence and you generate a card for them, meaning they would be drawn with any random selection (or not drawn) like any other fighter card. So I would lean on them not being in addition.
Is a retire option available for fighters? It would work mechanically the same as "Kill Fighter". Would be nice to still view the old fighters like the kill fighter option if they become too pathetic to use.
I had forgotten about the positive effects. I remember the old fear juvenile now! Maybe they should have had a little more variety in the table? Let's be fair almost any roll starting in 2, 3 or 4 does nothing of note.
Maybe this edition is focused more on equipment than stat advances? With...
