Just read through this thread. I admire your persistence! Unfortunately, Archeoteks just aren't very good compared to other House Special Champs IMO. Model is fantastic though, has to be said.

If you are using Yaktribes for the campaign you will be able to see the other Gangs anyway.

You can buy Arc Rifles from the BM during the campaign. You just need to roll a high enough rarity. Venators can't buy from the BM at creation as per RaW.

I think it's fine. In the end you are making a strong character, but you are going to pay for it. You are buying a Heavy Weapon, Suspensor, a somewhat decent non-heavy weapon and using your potential skill to make it all possible.

I don't see how it's a problem. The Fighter with the Name can use more than 1 weapon, and use any weapon he has for part 2 of the rule, and a GL with Krak isn't a Blast Weapon. It's like saying he can't do it with Bolt Pistol or Shotguns, because they can be Loaded with either Rapidfire/Blast Ammo.

Thanks for the reply, I have the composition right, I have 3 Hunters and 2 others. I was going for hotshot packs/sight due to liking the look of the models themselves tbh. I'll have another look at them and see where I can make adjustments..

With a little cutting you can make the Cleavers more swordish. I'm thinking of reducing more of the blade on my second one to make it as thin as the boning sword. Interested how it will turn out.

Some simple pruning and re-arranging to make a Cleaver into more of a Boning Sword.

As far as overseer goes, I'm just not sure how often I will have a model within 6" to use it effectively? Does it happen more often than I am expecting?
