I have no issues with roll offs but also like the idea of a fixed roll to change priority. Maybe an intermediate could be instead of a D3, the leader of the non priority gang roll a given metal stat (Ld or Int) and if passes gains the priority, if fails remains the same.

I really hate the random charge distance in games. Never saw to point in it when all other distances are fixed, and the ability to fail a charge due a roll do not really gives any depth to the system. But is the trend in GW games. Maybe Mv+2d3 could add a bit of reliability due the mean of 2 dices.

Me too, but seems a bit random that autocannons and power fist are black market items, but plasma cannons, heavy bolters or power swords are from legal trade post. But anyway a +1 rarity is not a big deal.
