We generally take all measurements from base of model. Otherwise there's just too much discrepancy between model poses.
"My ganger has his gun extended so if I measure from that I gain an extra inch. Oh, you want to shoot back? Sorry but you're out of range as gun tips don't count for model...
I think we can definitely relate to the terrain creep issue.
As for the sprint or leap becoming an issue I dont think that there's too many. But you only need 2-3 to put serious pressure on the opponents shooters while the rest of the gang advance. My experience is that its just a combination of...
Haha Its funny that you mention the above pic as being heavy terrain. This is practically open for our play group. :P I was going to suggest something similar to your above suggestion @Tiny though I would go as far as to say 8" from table edge if they're bringing the whole gang. One of the...
Not only that but in the previous edition the reward was capped at 3D6x10. In the current rules its D6x5 per model so it just keeps scaling exponentially with each game. Each game gives him more rewards which he uses for additional scavvies which then give him more reward again next game.
Also noted that the rules for bounty hunters specifies what happens if the ganger captured wasn't an outlaw. So what happens if the ganger captured is an outlaw? I presume that it just follows the standard outlaw capture rules? The rules could do with a line specifying that for clarification
Well seeing everyone likes a good probe.....
In the scenario "Hit & Run" can the water still or loot crate objective be interacted with if they're not the scenario objective that was secretly selected?
Is anyone able to shed light on why the rules where changed in the first place? Fluff wise, is it because models technically are moving so aren't a stable cover?
Haha well I may have spent the last year doing nothing but building terrain and printing off scatter from the 3D printer at work.
I've specifically done this just to make sure CC gangs have a fair chance and each table ends up unique. That's why IMO half the battle of winning a scenario is about...
Yeah Combat Master just kills any zombie scenario unfortunately which is a bummer because they're super fun.
In my experience the gangs that focus on shooting get a few rounds of trying to take pot shots as the CC gangs advance behind cover and using hide.
Once they engage its all over in 1...
Mostly true except that it definitely favours close combat gangs as almost all their attacks will roll multiple injury dice while a shooty gang will predominantly only roll the 1 per attack.
I'd be happy either way. Now that models are denied shooting the turn they go into hiding, its a fair trade off not being shot but not also being able to shoot back
I think the rules are pretty clearly written and follow the standard rules so everything runs smoothly but by limiting shooting to only targets that moves it creates a heap of ugly and broken situations that you have to house rule your way around.
A situation that we had was treacherous condition # 36 toxic fog limiting range. One 1 turn you could only see 4" so everyone went over watch but then on the opponents turn his whole gang was visible and mostly out in the open
ok then but what about this scenario:
Overwatch is still restricted to normal targeting priority. What happens if the closest fighter chooses not to move? Does this then deny all other overwatch shots to any other models further back (presuming that they're not better shots and the first target...
ok so what about the situation where a sustained fire shot from overwatch hits the first closest ganger that moved and he wants to carry on his shots to another model within 4" but the other models have chosen not to move (going into overwatch for example) Are you saying that they are now no...
