A little while between updates here, as I got a little busy with other projects. But couldn't resists assembling some new toys that arrived yesterday...
I've been largely avoiding the new Necromunda models, as the scale creep makes them look odd against my existing collection. But for Goliaths...
Strong Tone wash done on the juves, so they just need some final detailing and bases (which I'll do on the whole gang at once when everyone's otherwise done). Also started work on the new heavy, and transplanted the rest of the gang onto Maelstrom's Edge bases (for arc of sight marks).
Getting some paint on my Goliath juves... Complicated by the fact that I started this gang five or six years ago, and don't appear to have recorded what paint I used anywhere, so there's some guesswork involved.
A little something I put together from the lid of a round cardboard gift box, some bits from the Maelstrom's Edge terrain sprues and some water effects.

But yes, in general just spraying with primer is fine. Some raw cardboards can be a bit absorbant, so it can take a couple of...

The (theoretically) next gang I'll be finishing off is Goliaths. This gang was built around the plastic models from the original starter set, which I've had sitting in a box for all this time on account of not being particularly interested in playing Goliaths (back in the day, I mostly played...
While I'm busy dusting off and refurbishing some very old Necromunda gangs, I thought it would be fun to put together some extras as a handy way of hooking other people into the game. Also just because I like to use different stuff from time to time, so you can never have too many gangs...
