N18 Special rules - Hanger on.

The bulk of the first-generation Dramatis Personae (aka the fancy-named Bounty Hunters and Hive Scum) can still be found in Gangs of the Underhive, and is basically some of the current content still relevant in that book thanks to the online trading post update. Most the rest of the Book of-...

    N18 Squat Prospectors!

For a while, FW even did a Termite model as part of the Imperial Armory books, I wanna say as part of the Vraks setting, so if you Ebay it around you might get lucky

N18 Helamites in a sector mechanicum campaign?

In theory, nothing's stopping you, but for sure keep in mind that a mounted fighter isn't like a Van Saar grav cutter, and will be heavily limited for the things you can pull off on them. If you want mounted combat in the Underhive you're gonna have to do very specific map setups to make routes...

N18 Van Saar Starter List Advice

Might be a personal thing for me, but you might want to consider some Energy Shield/Lascarbine troopers at some point, probably with the Tek level of base statlines. These can be used for cheapish frontline troops in case enemy gangs start closing in on campaign, without having to make something...

    N18 Genestealers(Tyranids) and Chaos

Abberants and Chaos Spawn in the same gang, and in the case of a Fallen House, access to both chaos and GSC psychic disciplines. RAW it's not breaking anything to do it, but it's very much a thematic trek that feels like more trouble and meta-gaming than it works unless it happens naturally...

    N18 Closing the gap

Finesse skills are certainly worth looking into for more dedicated melee characters as well. Somersault will allow you to get a move that ignores Overwatch, Acrobatics allow a bit of movement shenaniganry, and of course abusing gaining Versatile on common weapon types via Combat Virtuoso for 3"+...

    N18 Neotek upgrade to Acheotek

See I was going off of stuff like that under the logic of it being hard to shove those things into gang stashes (especially grav cutters which were never given a tradepost price and only are priced via Neoteks). Them specifying promoted cutters can keep ahold of their guns makes it a good...

    Close combat van saar viable?

Archeoteks also get the most cyberrachnid slots, so you got 3 scarce Webguns lurking around you as well. Get em nice and stuck and then smack em when they can't really fight back. For everyone else, relying on shock staves/mauls and the energy shield spread about may be your best bet.

    Pets as wargear

Don't worry, pheylynxes also fall in this same awkward position too. Personally if I was arbitrating I'd let ya keep any you had on promotion without any restock after but that'd just me

    N18 Neotek upgrade to Acheotek

RAW, it doesn't specify it loses the grav cutter when it upgrades, and GW never did a FAQ regarding it, though with it specifying it should 'have a fitting model when it upgrades' it could really go either way. This is something that should be clarified with an arbitrator level personally...

N18 New to Necromunda, Attempting to Finish Acquisition List

Yeah, it's the smaller claustrophobic stuff I'm more worried about. We do have things like the sector mechanicus pipes and so on, but nothing like the barricade parts/aegis defense lines and other such scatter. If I'm buying anything more anytime soon beyond maybe that new starter set, it's...

N18 New to Necromunda, Attempting to Finish Acquisition List

So, hello there internets and fellow hivers. Recently my local shop has been gathering Necromunda related things, and over the past month or three, I've been gathering my own small collection of bits and bobs related for potential plans to try out Arbitration of at the very least a few learner...
