Nothing says to remove it from the roster. The gang tactics I've seen are good and with the post cycle get a new one the likelihood of getting saddled with tactics you don't want/ can't use drops dramatically
Agreed, by rule it is a mount you could absolutely house rule that (arachnirig too is a vehicle can't climb but also has flying so ummm yeah).
Me I'll just keep to the rules and justify it as the guy on top won't try cuz too worried about falling off during a maneuver like that.
Edit: to add...
No battle difference, that said they have rules preventing them from climbing and no dismount option so terrain dependant. If you and your group want to play them all the time get ramps and steps (they can "step up" 1/2 inch). Don't go all in as you might find your self on the receiving end of...
If like to add that reading is not playing and thus edition plays better than it reads. Look at hitting as getting close enough to scare them (supressed) while the to wound roll is if you really hit them/ hurt them. Them the cover added to save makes a bit more sense (did they cover vital bits...
From what I can tell the escher kinda need both skills while the Goliath t4 is a thing so every model seems to waste a skill. Building them from the instructions the ignition cannon was the same body as the heavy stubber, the close combat weapons are the same way the skills don't synergize they...
What if rolling a SI to an already SI (from a previous activation) granted you a reroll of SI dice. Per the GW overall you wouldn't reroll the reroll. Just a thought that popped into my head.
Hence the leash distance matters allot to keep control and not be silly. This would help/ hinder the too many pets lists i see people have bandied about. I'm almost salivating at (cuz we arbitrate yes) walking heavy stubber rounds through a ridiculous number of pet rats.
Finally took a look, pets are a subtype of fighter. Bottle says take a model which is defined as either a fighter or vehicle. Legit choice, looking at caryatid primes in spyrer lists I think the intent is to let you spend 70 credits to have a bottle option instead of your important spyrer. Most...
We ended up noticing the same thing, as you only get to serious injury once wounds are gone we kept swapping the wounds marker with serious injury and counting it as injured. Helped a small amount
Hadn't seen that yet 😕 was hoping they'd get to keep the ganger subtype. So much for training gangers in campaigns. This'll will be something I heavily consider house ruling in a perpetual campaign (along with a hard cap on the number of list champions)
From my play in the 90s even as a "champion" the gangers continued on with their rules, juves automatically became "gangers" at a certain point and could work but had more fun advances. Either way you weren't forced into a side grade that took away options ie heavy. With the weapon allowances...
What I'm wondering is while we use the short hand "champions" and such... just attaining that level of experience doesn't change their rules/ fighter type does it? Honest question here as we don't have the rules, everybody has experience with that coworker who should be higher up the hierarchy...
