Yes, sure! Coup de grâce is a regular action that any Active fighter can perform (provided they are within 1" of a Seriously Injured enemy fighter). It just so happens that a fighter may perform a Coup de grâce for free under certain circumstances (usually when they are no longer Engaged at the...

The rules you are looking for can be found in House of Faith on page 106. To answer your specific questions: terrain features are bought from the Trading post during the post-battle sequence. They cannot be purchased at gang creation once bought, a terrain feature can be used in any subsequent...

Dammit, you're right @Punktaku! I stand corrected. Are they crazy at Geedubs, ripping off original space marine designs left and right from other respectable companies like that? Let's hope for them they are ready for all those impending law suits :p

Well, all I can say is that they look eerily similar to space marines (the Starcraft ones, which is kinda going full circle), especially when they bother to wear their helmet, like this guy:

Even though Paired spud-jackers are close combat weapons, they are not in the trading post, so you have to check whether they are in the equipment list for the specific fighter type you want to equip. Because of that, and according to House of Chains (but I don't think it has changed since...

Yes, that's precisely the rule I hope they modified so that it actually says what they think it says (i.e. "The game doesn't use actual three-sided dice. When instructed to roll a D3, roll a D6 and <yadda yadda>"). When you say something is 'not necessary', it implies that it actually is an...

It'd be nice to refrain from belittling the majority of people who find it weird that a "natural 6" can be rolled on a D3. For consistency's sake, I hope they also changed the definition of what a D3 is so that you now have to roll a D6 and halve it.

So, the writers are 6ers eh... Ah well, at least it's settled then.

The Cyborg assassin from the Murder Cyborg scenario (RB page 178) does have a special rule that makes it immune to Flash, Gas, Toxin and the control-impairing side of Blaze (it also cannot be Pinned). You could house-rule something similar for other not-completely-organic fighters.

That's all I need to know. Added to the watchlist!

Real answer is probably something like "It didn't sell as many extra paints as we hoped it would", or the intern in charge finally left, or maybe something related to contrast paints?

Did you mean Grave of the fireflies? (one of the most depressing <anything> ever made — though I heard Barefoot Gen can give it a run for its money) A few other recommandations, from a random list of gateway anime series/movies: Death Note (supernatural cat-and-mouse thriller — see also Code...

It's okay. Not great but okay. Doesn't hold a candle to the original but okay. Similar to the Alita movie.

I can recommend a few things! Safest bet going from Cowboy Bebop would probably be Samurai Champloo (same director, similar concept, different setting). Psycho pass is also rather hard sci-fi, is about stopping criminals, and one of the main character is quite similar to Spike. Trigun shares...

Is there any kickstarter out there dedicated to vat-growing a clone of Andy and putting them in charge of SG for me to back?

They are used to do both. Every captcha consists of a solved and an unsolved problem. The solved one is used to check whether you are a human, and the unsolved one to train an AI who is fed your solution.

Sure, but we have multiple examples of them doing the exact opposite, sometimes for the same thing, sometimes in the same book. Those writers cannot be trusted with words. A slight difference in wording evidently means nothing to them, and should mean nothing to us. I agree that Versatile 1"...

I have two problems with that: It's practically impossible to have a fighter stop exactly 1" away from anything, and if it was, it would be practically impossible to measure that exact distance. More importantly, it assumes that those writers know, use, and assume the player will recognize the...

My issue with this is that, in case #1, the charging fighter may end up being forced to move in b2b with one of the two intercepting red fighters even if they have enough movement to engage their intended target, which is a bit strange. But honestly, I wouldn't terribly mind either way.

I agree with Kiro, but I'll add that it's open to interpretation. My interpretation of the rules implies that it's perfectly legit to charge someone in the back (provided enough movement) even if you start your movement in front of them (since you declare a target destination and not a target...
