Necromunda The Sump: An N17/N18++ venting thread (Beware:grumpy grognards)

Mando was good (up until the Gina Carano fiasco). Rogue One was good. I'm interested in the Andor series, has potential. The prequels were ok, but let down by a poor script in key places and over use of green screen instead of proper sets. The sequels were just bad. Character assassination of...

Necromunda The Spire: An N17/N18 Praising Thread

£90 is actually tempting, especially as I havent bought any Delaques yet (not sure I need more Escher though). Bit more than underhive was (think that was £75), but Underhive needed you to buy gang war 1 as well to get the full game which made it a similar price. A lot will depend on just how...

You know it is actually possible to cater for both the old guard and the new bloods. In fact Newcromunda started off doing just that (at least for me and many of the other sump regulars). Before the house of crap started I was actually quite happy with the game. I had bought Escher, Goliaths...

I was never a fan of those early 1st generation multipart plastics. Almost all of them had terrible proportions and ridiculously oversized hands. The only ones that stood the test of time were the orcs/ks in my opinion.

Nothing wrong with the monopose stuff. They were cheap and allowed you to build an army fast. Most of my fantasy battle orcs were monopose ones. £5 got you 5 Ork boyz and 5 arrow boyz or 10 black orcs. Then you could add command sections and flesh it out with metal boyz as needed.

Which is why all the random psychers and other tech heresy annoys me so much. These aren't rogue gangs hiding in the underhive where there is no law and order, they're fully funded house militia units. No way these things escape notice.

Indifference describes my reaction to everything Necromunda since House of Chains.

The Inquisition takes unsanctioned psychers a bit more seriously though, especially as theyre the fuel for the Golden Throne.

Does Necromunda now inhabit an alternate universe like Blood Bowl? Because it looks like house Delaque will be due a visit from the Inquisition rather soon.

Can they even copyright Latin? Although I doubt anyone else would even want to call their stuff 'Star Army'... (seriously why not call them Custodes Imperialis or something like that, i.e. the same name just in Latin).

I jus I just dont like the exposed upper torso and arms of the pilot on that design. The rest of the mech is good though.

I quite like the Kragnos model. One of the better models in that selection, the only other one I like is Radukar the Beast. The rest is just the typical AoS turn it up to 11 and stick things together is some vague attempt to create something 'unique' (while at the same time driving their older...
