The scenarios on White Dwarf 163, the hangers on scenarios, don’t mention Tactics cards at all? So do you get zero or default to pick two or 2 random?
Previous White Dwarf ones even the gang fight ones which were smaller battles still had Tactics cards.
And when you look at the tournament rules it gives you more skills than characteristic increases, but regular gangers can only get characteristic increases. By the time your Leader had a 3rd skill, surely more than 2 members of your entire gang would have gotten a characteristic increase...
I’m the first person to realize a flying creature doesn’t need Catfall? I was worried after posting maybe someone already said and I missed it.
Maybe doesn’t matter that much, would probably increase characteristics on Stig or bird first (and 2nd and 3rd) anyway. The Savant skills on Stig were a...
Hrm now I thinking about Sheenbirds. I guess pets don’t get the shorter d3 random skill table anymore? it’s not in House of Faith.
Not that there is any problem with any Primary Ferocity skills.
The secondary of Agility, though, the Catfall skill doesn’t seem that useful to a Sheen bird, but...
It just occurred to me today that half of the Shooting skills that Stig-Shambler has as Primary now are unusable by the Stig-Shambler. No sidearms for Gunslinger and Fast Shot+Hit and Run don’t work with Unwieldy which is only weapons Stig has.
No random rolling on that table!
The Savant primary...
would be cool if you could just hire Redeemer and role to see if Outlawed
The Outlaw rules in House of Faith say nothing about Exotic Beasts, so Outlaw Redemptionists can still hire cherubs, at least if you playing Dominion campaign that doesn’t have any conflicting rules.
Something I noticed: the Redeemer is an Outlaw, so a law abiding Cawdor gang cannot hire him.
Weirdly Deacon Malakev is not an Outlaw? I guess the “Dedicated Follower” rule overrides the fact that otherwise these two could not be in the same gang?
Annoyingly both the Cawdor only Hangers On are...
I will never understand why Overseer doesn’t require a Leadership check when so many other Leadership abilities do. At least put some risk on it. Maybe even Commanding Presence.
Also think mental skills should let you manipulate Mission Selection and Tactics Cards.
Hrm hadn’t considered he gets to stay. Looking at other House books, only Goliath gets to keep the Juves beyond that week, Escher, Van Saar, Orlock all say they leave at end of week. The Cawdor one doesn’t specifically say that I guess but it could be inferred that when he returns leadership he...
Thought I had: the Juve’s equipment is free so you take a Zealot Juve and give them 370 Credits worth of equipment (including one of each type of grenade). A 410 point dude.
You wouldn’t want a Juve to take Gang Hierarchy Leader away from your real leader because their Cool is worse.
So the Rogue Factoria lets you get counterfeit of ANY weapon? So like weapons unique to other “House” lists? Enforcer only weapons? Or only Trading Post and Black Market weapons?
I mean still pretty dubious about unstable weapons or giving opponent free Bounty Hunter, but I don’t know if I...
One of the Tactics Cards says Universal Article of Faith? What is a Universal one? Some rule they had in early development but took out and didn’t fix the card? Am I just missing where it is in the rules?
Yeah it says when hit, and the order is hit, wound, save. So you transfer hit, roll to wound against the Cherub’s Toughness of 2, then the Cherub gets its save. (Which I guess technically not an invulnerable save in the traditional sense.)
What if you allied Path of Faithful Cawdor with Promethean Guild? If you take Pyromantic Conclave can turn out all the lights and then use the see in the dark Arricle of Faith. And you of course also might not mind the improvement to flamer weapons.
