It looks like he's already in a Guild and currently being in multiple Guilds is reserved for subscribers. The intent was to be able to join multiple guilds but only create multiple if a subscriber but it's not how it's working currently.
The official writer blocked me long ago on Facebook and I'm not even sure he's the current writer. I have no idea the state of asking question on the N2017 FB group and whether Andy/the-other-guy still visit there. I gave up on Facebook a year or so ago. That was basically the only place where...
The following Allegiances have been added and structure in place ready for Custom Allegiances
Architect of Fate
Additionally, custom Rackets can now be created in the Customize area.
Yep, this is the biggest change to the db structure by far. In fact it's finally going to force me to create an admin interface for assigning equipment to ganger types as there's no way I'm going to be doing it by hand.
It's mainly about the tools support for now and how we're going to implement the house books, but there is mention of a new prefix.
The problem is going to arise more and more as house books are released and players are discussing their gangs. Is the question going to arise everyone someone...
The campaign structure doesn't care about rulesets, all it knows are the gangs attached to it and the territories etc. So mixing gangs from different rulesets is not an issue.
I wouldn't do that, I'd simply create a new version of the gang when it's released under the new ruleset. The legacy...
That requires all players to buy all the new books. We decided to sunset N17 because the Compendium was considered to be the final true version of Newcromunda, with the previous books purchased to apparently fund the Compendium. The "Book of..." releases are additional content, are not required...
I was thinking we possibly only needed to care about the ruleset for the gang creation, as we don't really care about it at a campaign level (yet?). The gang is basically the top level of the structure which would determine what versions of fighters, weapons, hired guns, trading post etc would...
The way it was done in the old tools (and the structure is there to support it in the new) is that you have a ruleset switch in settings. This dictates what version of the gang, equipment, skills is available to select from.
Once multiple rulesets is turned on, all versions of the above are...
Since it's particular to a battle, I would need to greatly extend the battle system to have a toggle for which gangers are present and provide a total. That would be part of a much larger enhancement to the battles, similar to what I had in the old tools (but never again that insane!)
I've limited random territory generation to exclude rackets now. The next step would be to assign campaign types to each territory so I can further limit territories generated to dominion only. Which will also require the custom section to allow selecting the campaign type.
You should invite them via their member card or profile. There's an Invite button next to Conversation.
