    What's on your mind?

They are hit and miss but I can confirm that their purple rattle can is one of the good ones. Great coverage and nice and smooth in my own experience.

    YakComp 52 - Big Guy

So I had a mildly productive evening and got some basecoats laid down on my boy. Also four more boys because batch painting is life.

    YakComp 52 - Big Guy

Huzzah. I actually have a few ideas for this one. Ogre Boss, Varghulf, Daemon Prince, Great Gargant, Hiveship… 🤔 Let’s start with this guy and his pet tactical rock and see how I get on.

TribeMeet UK - What Would You Attend?

I messed up your poll by voting for all the options. As I said in the other thread; I'd attend a weekend of tiddlywinks with you fine folks.

    TAG WAR UK 2024!

May also be worth a little survey: If you previously attended (or have been tempted to attend) but aren't attending this year, outside of simply not being able to make it on that weekend, what factors have affected your decision to not attend? Is the "play what you like" aspect putting you off...

Looks like someone at Specialist Games went wild with a glue gun and their bits box. Concept is really cool. Execution is... really not.

    YakComp 52 - Big Guy

I've got a lovely confident looking Avatars of War ogre character that needs painting. Does he still count as a "big guy" when he's the leader of an army of ogres? What if I stick him on a tactical rock?

    Necromunda Stoof's Project Thread

Should have picked up a Bretonnian battalion and just eyeballed them. I realise after typing it, that Bretonnians have both bright colours and jet bikes horses. Are Eldar actually space French after all?

Looks great. I like the smoother finish of the Imperial Fists paint vs Iyanden yellow which is more orange and always seems to come out patchy.

    Tiny's Stuff - Necromunda, Gorkamorka, 40k etc.

Thanks. It helps that they're fairly simple minis. Almost-naked humanoids with a few bones and rocks. Lots of drybrushing and washes. Pretty standard stuff. Recipe was (mostly GW paints): Ionrach Skin all over. Wash thinned Reikland Fleshshade with a drop of Magos Purple. Drybrush Ionrach...

Quick palette cleanser before I get stuck into a batch of Gnoblars. Printed them overnight on Saturday, cured on the windowsill Sunday morning, painted Sunday evening. Feels good to get a unit from idea to complete within 24 hours.

Did the first 10 Ogres for my latest Warhammer The Old World project. Damn you hobby butterfly! Might add some snow later, but not sure yet so will leave them as they are for now.

    *Clack-shick* - it's the Bolt Action thread!

The troll has most of the tips covered. I also have the same starter set and its a great starting point and lets you build any of a number of commonwealth North Africa forces (I did Indians). 3d printing definitely makes having whatever vehicles you want a lot more affordable, but if you're more...

    FYSC May Submissions Thread

Forgot I hadn't posted mine. Thought I hadn't done much but actually not a bad offering when I look back. Only the bases for the Skaven.. IIRC I claimed the rats themselves in a prior month but rebased them on appropriate hexes.

I'd like @Stoof to prove that by running this Juve in his next campaign.

Shh... it's a secret technique known only to the Magos Biologis... Aka wire, superglue and activator spray.
