N18 Does Gas and Toxic effects stack?

Which ruleset are you looking at? It just has Gas, Silent, and Template in all the rules I can see for it. Whatever the case, it should only have one toughness check per hit.

    Only the model that charged.

N18 Goliath Gang Relics (Pillar of Chains)

Page 110 of House of Chains explains fully where and how gang terrain is placed in the section ‘Placing Gang Terrain.’

    N18 Mounts in the hive

Page 134 of the Ash Wastes rulebook states that ‘in general vehicles should only be included in battles taking place in the ash wastes, though if both players agree, they can be taken in zone Mortalis and sector mechanicus battles as well.’ So basically it’s up to you. With the mounts it is...

N18 New Gang - Old Gang Members

I think that’s really a question for your arbitrator! If it helps though, in campaigns I’ve arbitrated when we’ve allowed similar it’s been: - Keep all advances - Keep all injuries - Keep any bionics - keep all weapons - may keep wargear, but may discard instead. - any unspent XP is lost...

    N18 Proganda Scenario

Yes, you could do that! You’d have to agree an alternative way to end the battle though because, RAW, the battle ends when only one gang has fighters remaining on the battlefield.

    New models incoming

On Warhammer Community here. I’m pleased with these - been wanting to do an Ash Wastes themed Escher gang for a while, but feeling a bit lazy about green stuffing backpacks and rebreathers so these fill a gap nicely.

    N18 Beginners Question Box

Hi, at creation only the Tek can be upgraded. There’s no difference in stats or cost but the Tek Specialist is allowed to take Special and Heavy weapons, which the regular Tek cannot. If you’re using the YakTribe gang manager just select the Tek (Specialist) option when recruiting a fighter...

    N18 Archeotech Territory

Sorry, I don’t understand your post. Unstable triggers when the ammo symbol is rolled on a firepower dice. If a weapon gains the unstable trait, then you can just use the firepower dice to see if it triggers or not. Obviously you’d still need to roll a d6 to see if the fighter goes out of...

    N18 Archeotech Territory

They can add to a melee weapon, but you roll fire power dice when rolling to hit to see if unstable triggers.

N18 "Redemptionist Backers" as a linked racket and Cults

Hey Perchik, welcome to the forum. This is an interesting situation and not one I’ve come across before. I agree with your conclusion, they ‘control’ it but don’t get the boons. So, yes they do get the additional benefits from the linked rackets. That seems fair and also makes thematic sense...

N18 Community built Weapons and Wargear

Snake-onna-stick S-E, L-3, S—, L-+1, Str—, D—, Ap—. Melee, toxin, reckless, versatile. Cost 25Cr, Rarity 9 It’s basically a shock whip with toxin instead of shock and reckless too. Created to get this guy on the tabletop but now generally available in our campaign

N18 Badzone Enforcers and Rebel Lord

Yeah it’s definitely a good idea to keep it simple when you’re starting. With all the options available, it’s a game that can definitely become overly-complex if you’re not careful.

N18 Badzone Enforcers and Rebel Lord

Hi Aaron, welcome to Necromunda - hope you’re enjoying it so far! There’s a lot of complexities and vagaries (as I’m sure you’re discovering), but it’s a great game and a community. On your question, I’m afraid the answer is a fairly hard ‘no.’ As per page 13 of the Book of Judgement, a...

    N18 Hotshot Long Las

I’ve never worked out why it should be excluded. Same goes for Van Saar’s Las-Carbines. Not difficult to house rule though.

Question About Legendary Name - One Shot

‘Totally ridiculous’ is a large part of why I play necromunda! I’m not an Orlock player, but they are fairly regular opponents for me and I enjoy how much more characterful the legendary names have made the gang.

Question About Legendary Name - One Shot

I’d say yes you do have to take the shot - Look at it as the Fighter’s arrogance in their ability to one shot overriding their common sense. It seems like a big downside, but with careful positioning of vision arcs and so on, you should be able to prevent it being a massive hindrance. Of course...
