I found the issue, my datasource for this writes the weapon as:
‘Nightshade’ Chem-thrower
which is decidedly not how yaktribe does it. I do not know which weapons in the datasource will and won't match how yaktribe writes them, but that weapon is corrected now. Please let me if and when...
Yep, I don't have that one in there. I can fix that real fast, I'll just need to go hunt down the weapon stats. So far I've only been testing Van saar and Enforcers since those are gangs that my friend and I are playing.

Yep, it does currently. Or at least it ought to. If there are any weapons that don't work let me know. You may need to update the workshop item first.
One issue however, is multi-profile weapons like plasma do not currently work. I'll need to restructure my code and the data source I have...
If you're still interested in tools for using gangs on TTS, I wrote a mod for TTS that lets you import gangs and script them. You need to provide models, but it lets you track wounds and stuff on the models themselves.
