i would treat possession as something of a controlled possession, where the wyrd is required to make a ld test at the start of its turn to act, if it fails its treated as the normal possession rules, if it passes then it remains possessed but you can control it. tho i think it should take...
Looks alright, tho my concern is I'm wondering how imbalanced it can be, in mordheim its only the heroes that go looking for warp stone (correct me if I'm wrong), as a result your rolling fewer dice.
But in imunda its the mid range plebs that do the work, I'm inclined to feel that its better...
Personally I feel underworld elements should always receive d6+1 for surviving a game. This can easily be covered in fluff, and give sure reason for under hive elements to still hold an inside edge

Tho I get a hunch that only one daemon per mastery level ought to be summoned. But also the result of a 12 on the psychic test should automatically lead to the possession result

Might be worth reviewing the rules for the necromunda covens to see how they alternatively work, there's a lot of decent rules in there :)
