Bases for the Boyz & Buggies. Sand and "mixed basing mess" glued on top. The buggies' bases got a layer of black paint (with a drop of PVA) to seal things a bit, and most importantly reach the middle areas of the base, that would be hard to paint later on.

Found a suitable base from hobby shop. An oval plate from some kind of a wedding sign? Covered in scrap.

I'm going to attempt texturing some bases with green stuff. What do you guys do about the slots/tabs when doing this? Do you just cut the tabs off completely and not use a slotta base? Just glue the mini onto the green stuff? Pin it? I'd like to ideally keep the tab intact and use a slotta base...
