3d Printing Links

They are quite simple but I've made some add-ons for Van Saar base "tactical box" so there could be a bit more of variety (and not having two models with the exact same box):

Neat! Thats a great idea.. I just cut the box off the foot on the other ones I have but if I hadn't I would use this. I haven't tossed them so I might still.

I wanted a cyberachnid for my Van Saars so I've made my own cyber spider (sorry for the self-promotion  )

Really nice models. Cyber-arachnid looks really cool. Could imagine a swarm of them on a base or a 10% one on a leader's shoulder. Is the doggo in the sentry gun picture one of your creations too? Silhouette looks promising lurking in the back there.

Only in the sense that I printed someone else's model! I don't have the skills to create it (yet?):

I've printed a few of those, as I've wanted cyberhounds / mastiffs for ages but baulked at the prices of the old metal ones.

I can't photograph the black resin too well but, once I've undercoated them, I'll upload a better photo. I did a couple "as designed", and then a couple "mirrored", so that there's some variance in their head direction.

For now, here are some undercoated versions of models from Patreon, with my test Marine for scale. It's a shame that I only really plan on using them for scatter terrain, but hey ho.

As promised, here are a couple of the cyber hounds / dogs, with some grey undercoating:

This hauler vehicle / tractor also turned out well:

(I didn't put enough resin in the tray for the second one, so it didn't print properly. So I did what any sensible ganger would do and stuck a gun on the faulty bit.
Both versions of the tractor look great. I can see either one working away pulling a trailer of bodies at the Cawdor corpse farm or boxes of Wild Snake from the distillery.

Doggos are solid, quality models too. Thanks for showing them with the gray.

Looking for recommendations on where to get some of these designs printed. Thanks.

Thought people might find this useful:

Basically I took the most popular Zone Mortalis files on thingiverse and put 3mm magnet holes in them.

Yeah, bubblebath!
That one of yours?

As somewhen in the not too far future I am planning to get a printer... This thread is hereby spied upon!

Disgusting resilient is currently a nice term to check if you're looking for Papa Nurgle's blessing

The following is NOT really "scratch building," but I just noticed on Thingiverse a set of free designs by one designer which have [free] printable terrain of what looks like good quality, some for Necromunda, some for GorkaMorka, some for Mordheim.

https://www.thingiverse.com/Terrain4Print/designs

Necromunda:
Grimdark Block Structures.
Shanty Houses
Shanty Walkways
Shanty Barricades
Shanty Junk
Gothic Spaceship Wreck B Engines
Modular Control Panels
Two-Armed Construction Robot

Mordheim:
Ulvheim B3 Stairs
Ulvheim B2 Modeular Ruins
Ulvheim B1 Modular RUins
Whattle Fence 2
Ulvheim Building and Ruins
Whattle Fence
Stone Wall

GorkaMorka:
Gothic Spaceship Wreck C Nose
Shanty Walkways
Shanty Obstacles
Shanty Junk
Shanty Barricades
Gothic Spaceship Wreck B Engines
Gothic Spaceship Wreck A Body
Barbarian Tent
Modular Control Panels
Two-armed Construction Robot
Desert Sci-Fi Buildings
Shipwreck Terrain
Modular Arabic Style Village

Edit: The creator says he printed them at about a 5% infill for his general gaming use, and did only the briefest of sanding jobs. I especially like the Ulvheim Building And Ruins set, in that it is pretty effectively modular, to make two- or three-story ruined buildings, or even to use as the "base" stonework story for some foamcore "lath-and-plaster" or "half-timber" upper structures. Separately, I also like the GorkaMorka "crashed Imperial spaceship" sections, to represent bits of the Hulk scattered about the Skid on Angelis.
Great links, thanks alot! :)

Has anyone bought anything from this fellow?

Looks like really nice sculpts, but there was no free test models that I could see.
I support Unit 9, as well as Imitation of Life. Good stuff. Unit 9 does have a free mini, but I can't remember if the link was on Patrion or My Mini Factory.

No, for once that wasn't a shameless auto-promotion

It's from h_u_r_a_k_a_n which I recommend to follow as he has a lot of awesome necromunda (and not necromunda) paintjobs.
Oh how I wish I could just browse Instagram without popups demanding I make an account or log in with Facebook. Can only ever see the tip few images. Is there any way to disable that crap?

Has anyone seen any STLs that might make a decent replacement for a phyrr cat?

thanks
Jamie
