So I have a concept for my new gang box, but reality is setting in about being able to pull it off, so I think keeping it a “secret” will create unrealistic expectations I won’t be able to meet. And I already blabbed about it on other threads. So here they are, my first ever purchase of anything related to Neomunda. An Escher gang. No special conversions or anything special. The plan is to let the paint schemes reveal the concept. And it’s pretty nerdy...
Yep, progress is visible. Unless you're planning to go mad with the highlights, I reckon you could just black-line the armour and call them done. A micron pen is meant to be a really good alternative to painting the lines in or using washes. Has the added advantage that you can just snatch a few minutes here and there without the need for water and brushes.
What kind of sadistic bastard paints DV chosen in white...? Might as well have went yellow. (Joke) They definitely look like they are getting there I'm willing to bet between you being your own worst critic and that particular color scheme not looking very photogenic they are probably beyond table ready
Nuln oil isn't something you want on white that's at that stage of completion. Maybe a flesh wash to show age but black wash Seems all bad. (Look he's trying to give advice like he's people again...next he'll be trying to sit on the furniture)
@Ashmagnus2112 i wanted them to stand out from the rest of my plastic chaos army... but still be a part of it. So the white and blue with the silver trim is the pre-heresy colors of the World Eaters. The red, brass, and bone leaching in is the Khorne colors taking over. The corruption has already twisted the armor. Don’t ask why chaos twisted the armor then colored it. Chaos is fickle.
