ORB A Growing Populace (New Minis WIP)

The human lancers I might use as juvies. The big Alanti lancer came with the option of using twin swords (or mixing it up), but I wanted a gunfighter-type model. The robot only has one arm, as the other is the one that went into the in-between while I was trying to attach it. (Still haven’t found it.). I do have an alternative in mind, which is currently melting together on my desk.

I didn’t expect the Neiran to be so big. They’re a Xenos race, and easily head and shoulders taller than the other models.

At some point in the future when this happens we’ll just sigh, write it off and 3D print out another part from the STL.

Until then… it sucks.

Have you tried walking around barefoot?

Glue for the Glue God! (I don’t have magnets)
Here, this is an absolutely killer listing and these will work for almost any arms going forward.

I found the arm!!! Only took a super powerful flashlight to do it, but I did! Now he’s a complete robot.

How far has it escaped from the drop zone?

I once dropped a head and it bounced into oblivion. Found it in the hallway! My only guess is that it must’ve bounced onto me somehow, like in a crease on my jeans or something…

I am suspecting a fold in the cuff of my jeans, as it was a few feet from where it was dropped. On the far side of my desk where I have my printer. I hadn’t bothered looking over there because I thought it was too far away as I didn’t move my foot to kick it over there.

Tried to greenstuff the gaps in the Bombshell bases for the metal models, but I think my 30+ year old green stuff may have gone south. Super sticky, hard to manipulate, and hardened very quickly. But then again, I was never really skilled with the stuff.

I only used green stuff when I was actively using green stuff on the miniature (or another one and had spare to use up).

Milliput was my favoured epoxy putty of choice for that. Mostly because at the time it was cheaper and easier to get hold of.

You can stick stuff over the gaps, use wall filler (spackle in the US) or glue a bit of sprue in there.
