ORB A Growing Populace (New Minis WIP)

My experience is that GS starts going bad after about a year in a plastic clamshell pack, then it starts going lumpy when mixed. Milliput lasts longer than that, but becomes very hard to mix, adding a teeny drop of machine oil seems to help a bit, but I have no idea if that's a good idea longterm.
A lot depends on how it's stored. If you keep the yellow and blue touching, the area where they touch will start to cure over time as if they were mixed. So if you buy it in the ribbons, it's a good idea to separate the colors.

I finished up some more Bombshell minis counterblast crew members. The first is a Lancer Brute I painted like an N95 Van Saar. I went with a Xenos skin tone, but chose bright blue eyes so he didn’t look “demonic.”
This is another Shinaar sniper. I like the newer one more than this one. I decided to paint her as a calico, because I don’t have a calico and the last two I painted after my actual cats. Both of those cats were out to sleep within a few weeks of each other due to health problems.

I really got stuck on a paint scheme for this guy. I wasn’t keen on the one featured on the website. So I scoured the internet, and settled on this one based off a pic of Star-Lord from the MCU.

Here’s a WIP of the current batch of minis. Mostly to keep myself motivated.

It’s WIP Wednesday on some interwebs sites, but im mostly posting these to help keep the terrain bug at bay.

This first guy I’m calling Major. I figure he’s a grizzled veteran and his armor is battered from use. Cannibalized parts keep it together.
I don’t have a name for her yet, but I’m thinking she’s special ops in some way.
Even starships need a mechanic to keep them together.
Ships mechanics need helpers. That’s where these two Bombshell sidekicks come in
I decided to make this Raccoon character into a Tanooki.
They call this one a Lancer Plugger.
