so with the ablative overlay in the rules on page 272 confused by the wording, in a nut shell do you have to hit them two separate rolls to negate it or will a weapon with rapid fire if you roll the appropriate rolls 2-3 on the dice in one attack counts as hitting it twice i thouhjt there was a faq about it but cant find it

all the help will be good thank you

It's a very powerful for the price. I m in favor on limiting them. It's the kind of object that is spammed ruin the pleasure of gaming for the other.
Well just shoot them more then.

Look at the pricing though. A 20 credit ablative armour is negated every battle by two shots of a stubgun 5 credits, or 10 credits for two shots at once. Once the armour is depleted it is useless for the rest of the battle.
The stub guns can fire every turn of a 20 turn game or more.
Van Saar can do it with Las guns for the same price as the armour and Esher for the Stubgun price at 24".

It is actually quite cheap to counter ablative armour with low cost weapons. It gives your Gangers and juves something to do with their pop guns while other fighter storm ahead with stronger weaponry.

It's keyed to Saves not hits. Basically every hit that causes a wound will deplete the armour.
Weapons that ignore saves, like the Web Gun, will not deplete the armour but the humble autoguns can.
