Adeptus Titanicus Unboxing

I haven't bought the game - and am probably unlikely to, sadly - but I do kinda want to pick up a pack of Warhounds anyway. I have fond memories of Epic Warhound titans being servitor-controlled ED-209 style "crime suppression" units in games of Necromunda. They'd occasionally show up if a Lawful gang did something awful in the narrative or an outlander gang got too bit for its boots :)

That is a very cool idea.

The £30 rule set may be worth purchasing if you everythink you are going to have an opponent and have proxy sets availible. I am yet to play a proper game but having sat down and jousted away with two titan control panels and dice to get a feel for it, it seems like an interesting and we'll considered rule set

Depending on how much the warhounds and Reavers end up costing.

So apparently reavers are going to cost a far more respectable £35 still expensive by anyone's guess but not as bad as people were expecting. Hopefully the warhounds will also be reasonably priced.

That and the price that they release all the other titan weapons we're missing. I'm almost hoping for single resin kits as apposed to a large expensive plastic sprue including all of them but we shall see

You can pre-order Reaver now.

No need to rush, I have no interest in them without the Melta Cannon, or the Volcano cannon, The laser blaster with its current rule cannot reliably score devastating hit/ critical hit on warlord. It even has worse hit roll than its 2 barrel version.

Yeah its having the same necromunda problem of the discrepency between the release of the plastic and the resin, multiplied by the small number of units.

That said the kits are fantastic and have a degree of built in magnatistion that I have never seen on any model in my limited experience. So you wins you lose I guess

Today on the latest "how high can it get? with GW" 2 Warhounds for 75USD. Gathering all whales around the world.

Dreadfleet was actually pretty great, but sold badly because GW stated it was a one-off game and that they would not provide any further support. People were expecting a Man-o-War reboot and were sadly disappointed.

Had GW promised ongoing support from the off, it would have sold really well IMO.

Always wanted to pick up a copy of dreadfleet. I watched the prices plummet but didnt pull the trigger on purchasing it before they were taken off the shelves.

Back to AT. I don't see this happening with the super limited run and Forgeworld support. Although a quick search did turn up the Imp Knights boxest on WalMart for $30.00 which gives me hope! $30 for 3 knights sounds like a great day... oh but wait they are terminator sized right? :(

35 USD for 1 necromunda/bloodbowl team sprue. That's 100% more expensive than it should be.

Imagine Necromunda being more popular, they'd sell you the same kit for 60$.

I have a set of titans from Space Marine/Epic/Epic 40K/Epic Armageddon. It is my only completed army in flat aircraft grey with black, white, yellow, gold and silver highlights. One Imperator Titan, two metal Warlords, three metal Reavers, one metal Warhound, and about a dozen of the little guys, knights. All nestled in battlefoam waiting to be woken by the eternal Emperor. (He is full of himself, a bit of a megalomaniac I hear.) At the time we would conjecture how big a 40K titan would be. We guessed bigger than those they are making now.

I hear fan rage broke out today on the ForgeWorld Facebook Forum when their community team announced a new Warlord Titan... which appears to be the only way to get hold of the new weapons. By buying a full priced new Titan.

Ha, yeah, I noticed their Facebook comments were super ragey. Pretty damn hilarious. Like they genuinely thought GW would do anything different.

This is a company who sell cool new Imperial Knights for 40k, but the only way to get them is bundled with a bunch of Ad-Mech and Necrons, then release their new Ork buggies and the only way to get them is to buy a load of Bikers you don't want.

Amazing what saying that thing A will be available does to people who really really really want thing B despite no-one actually saying thing B won’t be available…
Next thing you know, they’ll do a Warhammr Community preview of the Delaque gang and everyone will scream about how it’s unfair that they won’t get hand flamers accessory kits.

I'd be genuinely interested in knowing if a separately available sprue was always on the cards. Based on production lead times etc I'd be surprised if it wasn't.
