I’m not a fan of painting yellows myself. They’re a pain. You, good sir, have some lovely yellows there. Very warm.
Thanks, I hadn't realised how much people loathe painting yellow until I'd already started. It's just averland base, flash gitz layer and cassandora shade with a dorne yellow final highlight. It's much easier on the flat planes of the rig. Takes a little more time/layering for the van saar model.

Cheers dude. Averland base, flash gitz layer highlight, cassandora shade built up to increase the darkness where needed, dorne final highlight then lamenters glaze to tie it all together. The real trick is lots of very thin coats, so many you go mad! I've improved my technique since the first rig which is pretty rough up close.
Almost there...
