Hello all - I was wondering about Enforcers/Arbites, or at least a temporary, fill-in-the-blank squad, and how to construct them from the various options available. I wasn't sure if an Orlock base (ferocity and shooting focus) or a Van Saar (techy and shooting) base was a good idea.
Also in terms of weapons, I went about fibbing with what actually is on offer.
I wondered about a mix of Combat Shotguns (70 creds - although possibly cheaper as "house" weapon), Shock or Power Weapons (50), Armoured Undersuits (25), Frag Grenades (30), Choke Gas (50), Grenade Launchers (55), Boltguns (55), Bolt pistols (25), special weapons and heavy weapons, and also ideas for Web weapons using original Necro rules (until GSC is rreleased). Something like:

However, any well-armed and armoured model is an expensive combination: an orlock ganger with combat shotgun and armoured underlayer is 145 credits, and a proctor or sergeant with c.shotgun, power weapon, armoured undersuit, and frag & choke grenades is a might 350 credits.
One ends up with very petite squads, of about 6-7 men, when making them armoured or well-armed. Of course the original rules for Arbites in Necromunda was a Proctor and 4 men, which changed with the Underhive Enforcers to two squads of 5 making up a 10-man gang. But I'm in a muddle about what to do - ultimately the size is the chief limit on this overly well-equipped gang idea.
Now not all police will be heavily armoured or armed ... so I'm not sure they need to be. A 'detective' isn't usually so well-armoured, for example, and could make a nice Inq28-style addition. Juves could be recruits, I guess.
Anyway, some wonderful inspiration from the interwebs:
