N18 Are Escher Cutters as scary as they seem?

So, going down the cutter rabbit hole, I noticed for a Cinderak campaign I can start with 4 of these things packing grenade launchers, reguardless of who's riding them... so... Wildrunners on grav bikes blasting away like specialists...
that seems... a bit much...
does the "must come with a weapon" part really seem needed to keep the bike balanced?

It's four fast, fragile grenade launchers which will stand above most ground cover. Good, but only just...a bit much... And, they ain't cheap.

I like that you are concerned about balance. But, they ain't gonna run the table. What they will do is put four fast maneuverable figs on the board. Which will add some excitement to a vehicle game (because those can sometimes be bit of a slog).

FLGS had a spring clearance sale. I just finish painting four Goliath Maulers today. A bit much? I hope so!
