N18 [Baseless speculation] What will be the next 'Book of...' and 'quarterly Plastic kit' for Necro?

As the title suggests I am wondering (wish-listing) about what will be the last (for this year) Quarterly plastic release for Necromunda and the 'now mandatory' Expansion 'Book of something'?

I have a few ideas (and hopes), but I am also interested to read what other people think might come out...

Let start with the most 'wish-listy' of my predictions: We get a surprise Warcry-styled release consisting of a second plastic box kit (Champions and Juves; let say 3 champs and 2 juves per box with lots of extra weapons/gear to properly flesh out our gangs) for each House gang, all released in a 2-3 week release wave (yes, I know, crazy right? :p )
As I prefaced, I don't really expect this to come true, (one can hope:) but assuming it happens, what would the expansion book be about then?
We know there are such things as Specialist Champions (meaning champions that can't have Leadership skills or become the substitute leader, in exchange for a 'specialisation' of some sort) and gang Prospects (people below even gang Juves, that really wish they could join-up and are willing to do the most daring/stupid actions to impress the gang'sleader), and their special rules would abviously be in the new book, but that would be just one section, at most 2-4 pages per House gang (if these specialist champions and prospects are each unique to his/her house). Likely there would be some new House specific weapons/wargear and possibly an expansion to the Black market item list (like what Book of peril did expanding the 'legal' trading post), with some more toys for everyone, probably themed around the 'flavor/title of the book...'

If we try looking at it, starting from the theme of the book, I would guess the next book will be:
The Book of Corruption/Heresy/Outcasts (...you get the idea, basically about cultists and/or outlaws)
Specialist games devs working on Necromunda lately seem to be including rules/profiles that can often be represented by current GW models from Black Stone Fortress and 40k (the Man of Iron, many Rogue trader/BSF adventurers, ecc...) and with the BSF upcoming expansion with new Chaos cultists and Adventurers (that look as if they were made for Necromunda actually) I get the feeling the Chaos cult gang will get the same 'official' treatment as Venators did in the Book of Peril. The gang would get an updated House weapon list and most importantly, (I hope) it would get a more detailed (possibly God specific) set of special rules/benefits for Chaos rituals/sacrifices, chaos corruption and possibly even multiple Mutations. The book could even introduce a Chaos corruption mechanic, by which even non Chaos cult gangs could gain chaotic corruption by using Corrupted illegal weapons and some new Warp-tainted drugs and so on... If this turns out to be true and we don't get the (hoped for) plastic champs/juves, I'd at least whish GW packages the BSF Chaos cultist models as an Easy to build or even a multipart plastic kit box without the cardboard add-ons for BSF (to keep the price down for those of us that want just the toy soldiers).
Anyway, if Chaos cults are the main theme I could see there also be 13-26 new Intrigues and/or Rackets (we have 26 more free cards to represent both additional Rackets and Intrigues), except these would be focused on the chaos corruption/piety of the gangs performing/controlling them. There would probably be some Mutant Illegal brutes/beasts and plenty of corrupted/Outlawed Drammatis personae and additionalOutlawed Hangers-on.

To me it seems the dev team approaches Necromunda expansions as 'staggered rule teasers', as in in the last book Alliances were introduced (and several were named without actual rules), but they were limited in variety and unreliable due to the conditions to bring a guild entourage to a game (due to reputation), but in the current book they introduced Guild bond Rackets (that automatically bring out the Enoturage to any game you want), plus 6 more Criminal allies were explained (and the rules to bring their agents/entourage are more reliable than the Merchan guilds without the bonded racket). Somehow the devs keep half-setting up a new game element/mechanic in a book (while mentioning more to come in the future), only to flesh it out in an actually working form in the next book... If this pattern keeps true and we get Chaos cult and more Outlaws in the next book, the book after that will most likely be about Chaos' opposite number, aka the Redemptionists (especially if you consider by that time we'll be just coming off the sisters of battle big wave release and hype-train and a load of people will be using Sisters to create all female Cawdor/Redemptionists gangs), but that is fairly far off...

Anyway, returning to the book of chaos and/or outlaws, the Chaos cult getting full Book rules, doesn't really take up any Necromunda specific plastic kit for that quarter, so what could that be, if it isn't Champs/Juves? If the book doesn't focus entirely on Chaos cults, it could flesh out other outlaws and outcasts, more specifically Scavvies and mutants.
We have seen one unknown gang icon(from that PDF Web release of gang tactic cards), that looked like it could represent some gang of scavengers/savages and we know there is one more unique Skill table called Savagery (due to it being mentioned on the enforcer's skill table), which to most people would indicate either Scavvies or Ratskins (I would lean toward Scavvies myself).
A plastic box of Scavvies would very likely be great conversion material for a multitude of Hive scums, Underhive NPCs and even Chaos cultists (especially if they expand Mutations for both gangs). Most likely the box would make most 'small-fry' gangers (a bunch of decrepit/ragged humans with minor mutations and disfigurements, with a selection of larger mutation arms/legs), while the larger/more mutated champions would be Forge world future releases or kit-bashed/re-purposed 40k/AoS/BSF/Rogue trader models.

Plastic scavvies would be quite a pleasant surprise (since we haven't seen any previews/renders/concepts about them, but if you think about it, neither did we get much teasing/spoilers about the enforcers until they had the models produced and painted) and I would still be happy if they were our last plastic release of the year (instead of my wished plastic champs and juves:).

Anyway, I've gone on for long enough. What do you guys think? Do you have some different baseless speculations about what else could be the next plastic/book?
Cheers!

Sooner or later they have to do a "Book Of Cults" - properly covering Chaos Cults and Genestealer Cults. You have done some nice wishlisting on this already.

It would be THE opportunity to finally release a proper Chaos Cult box, since the current offering - other than converting of course - consists of exactly five monopose ETB models. We have seen new cultists already, and I hope against hope to see them released in a way that comes without the "BSF tax".

Just give me a proper cult book already...

Book of Death - Karlos Valois, scavvies, and plague zombies.
Book of Ash - Wastelanders, nomad gangs, outcast gangs, maybe vehicles.

Either of these would fit in with the teases in Book of Judgement.

It could be cults, I don't see it though. I could imagine cults getting an update like Venators as part of a book that has a broader theme. But if they want to shift plastic, it needs to be something new.

Gotta second the Book of Ashes. Nomads, vehicles, maybe even a revamped Ratskins Renegades. (Maybe they’ll be mortal enemies of the AWN now? That’d be interesting.)

You mentioned that Guild Alliances are half finished and Criminals are the full rules for alliances. Are you saying that the rep related limitations on Guild representatives should be ignore because Criminals have not such restrictions?

I disagree. I think Guilds are working as intended alongside Recidivists. Outlaws get the benefit of being sure they can rely on their allies, while law abiding gangs can't always depend on Guilds showing up but can collect bounties on outlaws.

Whatever it is it’s been handed over to the Specialist Games publication department for typing up by now.

Books of cults make a lot of sense to me.
GW is in "saving mode" this year with Necro, releasing models that are more aimed for collectors (Jerico) or that can reskin and adapt to 40k easily (ambots and enforcers).
Would very easy to doa book with 2 cults gangs, psiquic powers rework (and an associated card pack) and a couple of new brutes and pets. And the release the cultist minis already previewed for Blackstone fortress (that can be sold at a higher price because have all the cards for the BSF game)

Maybe GW surprises us but this makes a lot of logic to me.

A box for Chaos Cults would be something new though, and cross-compatible with 40K.

Each 40K unit of Chaos Cultists has a mandatory champion (no model currently), and one in every ten of them can be armed with flamer or heavy stubber (no models for either right now too). So a Necromunda (or 40K) box would solve a big* issue in two games at the same time.

* ... for players of CSM or CC gangs of course

I think, for me, a "Book of Ashes", would be the way forward. As mentioned, the recent fluff articles on Warhammer community mention the ash Wastes a bit, so would introduce nomads and possibly vehicles, but if the GW are being lazy, then a Book of Outlaws/Lawlessness would be a nice touch- polar opposite to the book of judgement and would allow factions from the old Necromunda, which already have some fluff- Scavvies, Redemptionists, Ratskins and Spyrers- to be reinvented and remodelled and the GW designers wouldn't have to think too much

I reckon the next one will be covering the Ash Wastes and Nomands, etc.

There seemed to be more art for that shown off at GW events earlier this year.
I just pray it isn't more bounty hunters!

I would really like to see a kit for all the hanger-ons that all gangs could use, and it could be done in a way to provide weapons in holsters and arm that match up against different gangs as to provide options for you gang.

For example, a Goliath sized model could be included with a Bolter option and right handed stub gun and left handed fighting knife. This allows him to act as a dome runner, hive scum, ammo-jack and a few others as well as filling in some grossly missing holes for the Goliath sprue. You do something similar for all house gangs making it a 12 model kit and now you have a bargain buy that plenty of folks will be chomping at the bit(s) to get their hands-on as it works for ALL houses.

This is wishful thinking but so stupid something like this isn’t done honestly. A cross-gang booster that fills in most of the assorted misc. models.......

I think either the next book or the one after will be a book of Cults and will reprint the Chaos Helot Cult, Genestealer Cult, and create the new Corpse Grinder Cult rules.

I doubt we will get new models for the chaos and GSC cults as they already exist in some way, but I would expect a new set of models for the Corpse Grinder Cult.

There is possibly going to be another midway book (like the Book of Perils) that gives us a bunch of rules that set us up for the Cult book rules. This could be a book that gives us rules for the Ash Wastes or it could be a book that covers rules for other hives or even the eye of Selene.

Ok, this teaser kinda gives us the answer to my opening question:
Teaser video from Nova reveals
So in November we'll get this Necromunda Uprising (and Sisters of battle will supposedly release in November as well) and based on the video it will be focused on Helot/Chaos cults.
I wonder if the Plastic release will be (finally) a proper Chaos cultist gang box (possibly a multi-part version of the newest cultist for Black stone fortress), or another different variant of chaos cults (besides all the Warcry and BSF options up to now).
