N18 Battle Bible for Necromunda (2018)

Hello guys,

I read a couple of weeks ago on DAKKA DAKKA that some folks on yaktribe are so disgusted with the way GW screwed up the new Necromunda books that there is now an initiative to rewrite the whole rules by the community.

By rewriting I mean the way 9th Age handled the rules department of WHFB. Clear, concise, precise and void of the silly repetition that plagues the new books.

Is that rumour true?

Phase 1 (brainstorming suggestions by the community) is already finished. A small council has started phase 2 to make decisions, but it's still a long way until it is complete.

Do members of this council have connections to the 9th Age people? It would be beneficial for the N18 community project to get advice from those vets.

Are any of the 9th Age crew some of the same folks who worked here and at Eastern Fringe [before my time, by far] on the Necromunda Community Edition? That was also a pretty similar project, picking up and rationalizing N03 as an edition into a more "competitively and reasonably balanced" rule-set.

I can't answer this question because I simply don't know. People also often use different names on other forums.
