Biggle Bear's battleworn buildings

I made a prototype of a folding cargo container. I’m a bit stumped on how to paint them to avoid warping.

But using this packaging and an A4 sheet of bought corrugated card I can cover the three big sides with a bit to make borders. Then on the doors and back end of the container , I can glue a facade made of cereal box card. I can see already lots of places where I can improve the design and I have enough materials for 7 more containers that will be able to fold down for easy storage.

comp 54 has started and here is the beginning.

I am thinking of doing 3 trophies and above are materials for the campaign winner (a yak atop a tower) and a terrain contributor trophy (for whoever is voted as having the best terrain piece).

And here are my first progress photos from just the campaign trophy. I glued a foam sheet around the tower for texturing reasons but also to hide the spiral pattern and just to make it feel nicer to the touch. The base is made of two 1l yoghurt lids. One has the centre recessed at the bottom and the other to the top. I thought by adding the grating I could either add pipes and such or pooled liquid to get a sense of depth.

The statue is a cheep cow thing I bought for less that 1€ with random stuff glued on.

The signage is cereal package that I cut so that it forms a box that theoretically will glue flush to the tower.
