Hi there!
My dearest and oldest friends birthday is coming up, and I have this idea that I think is kind of cool: lets create a character and a gang for him, using his nick-name "Bulkhead Boost"! I have some ideas myself, which I will share down below!
If I get any suggestions, I will gather them into some kind of document and also try to create a custom cover for the VHS-box I (hopefully) can provide some kind miniatures for. If it all goes well I will upload the finished results with what you guys & gals helped me create!
My friend is a real Necromunda-nut, who favors Corpsegrinders the most, but his true passion lies in the building (and talking, oh dear god the neverending talking) of terrain! We have spent many evenings chatting about diffrent types of terrains, their functions, the materials they can be made with, and how to best use various junk to build awsome things! He constantly orders new tools, molds, colours and materials and slowly but steadly crafts some very inspiering buildings & terrains. At one point he constantly used the word ”bulkhead” in such frequent matter that he earned himself his aformentioned nickname..!
If you want something to base your Necromundian version of Bulkhead Boost on, here´s some info that might help:
Lets make ”Bulkhead Boost” into something he truly will remember!
Many thanks!
Hakoon
ps. Here is my take on the character:
Bulkhead Boost
Most gangs dread to go near The Bulkhead Bastion in fear of getting lost. If what they will loose is their bearing, lives or sanity, that is the choice of the bastions warden, Bulkhead Boost. As the true mad architect he is, Bulkhead Boost has designed his bastion and its surroundings to be a surreal human flytrap. Paths seem to dwindle on endlessly, looping into dead ends, traps or bizzare rooms devoid of function or reason. The whole bastion appears to always be slowly shifting, an illusion driven on by clever hidden optics and structural trickery.
Bulkhead Boost himself is rearly seen, but his presence is everfelt through-out the claustrophobic trash-shapen tunnels and desolent arenas. Haunting laughter, whispers and manic babbeling travel allover the bastion via unseen sensors and ancient, long forgotten static frequenzies.
Rumor throughout the Underhive has it that Bulkhead Boost was once a prominent domerunner for the Goliaths, feared equally for his strenght as for his foul mood and driven by a obsession for ancient aerotech. As it turned out, specificaly aerotech infusion on human bodies, the very instrument of his own transformation and downfall. His gang nowadays refers to him as ”The Siege Engine” or ”The Wired Hammer”, something which gives a hint of the current state of Bulkhead Boost.
Bulkhead Butcher Boys
These are the wardens servants, the keepers and warriors of the Bulkhead. They consist mostly of former captives from other gangs, tortured and modified by aeroteck untill their will is broken and feral enough to serve. Compared to other gangs they seem to be fewer in numbers, but their accsess to diffrent gang-specific wepons, tactics and abilities more than make up for this.

- he is very loyal to his friends and will always help you if he can
- he has a near uncanny ability to rant about topics, if you let him
- he can have quite the short temper, but is also almost always near to laughter
- he has a rich interest in politics and consider himself some sort of libertarian, I guess?
- he loves history and have a deep fascination in mythology
- he loves animals, mostly dogs and reptiles
- he works as a security guard, often at a refugee facility
- he is quite a hefty fella, you know the ”no neck and broad shoulders- type of guy”
- he knows boxing and mu-thai (or however that is spelled)
