I wish I had more of those lovely bulkheads. :’(

I keep meaning to remake the original buildings for pure nostalgia sense out of plasticard. My original card has got a bit shabby especially with constant assembling and dismantling.
Yeah my 42 is a bit limiting (necromunda outlanders and the gorkamorka fort) are a little but limiting in terms of number off bulkheads per level. I keep looking at eBay but for the price I'm almost better off buying the new sector mechanicus, as is I've only spent about £30 on plasticard to make a reasonable 4x4 table. With paint and extra reckon I'm coming in under £60. At roughly £3 a bulkhead from eBay costs would escalate rapidly

They look great all put together, and you're so quick! Im trying to do something similar and I find cutting and sticking the plasticard so fiddly it's taking me an age...

Thanks I've gone with getting it thing done over precision with this build. Hopefully nothing will be to obvious once painted!

It helps that the hexagonal platforms only take 10 individual cuts.

Whatever plating you decide to use, put half rounds as hooks on the back so you can take them off and move them around as you please.

Looking pretty sweet! (y)
If you've got an airbrush, you could try following this simple tutorial for painting large rusty surfaces.
