Building the warshed thread

Ok. I'm back. Felt like a avatar change was necessary from BARF. Tough few weeks. No real work on shed but I managed to splash some paint. Ooooon Minis. not the shed. I'm sure that's acceptable here! 🤷‍♂️

Feel like I've come out the other side on a real bad patch and still working on a few things on a personal mental health level. @undertaker definitely feel like a shedspire is in order. Been in my own personal sump for too long. I'm gonna fill that Shedspire with damn Rainbows and Unicorns!

More inprocess photos..... My upcycled "doors" came from heavy duty shutters off a hurricane damaged house.

I got a bit of junk in my trunk warshed.

Have more Windows to put in with the up-cycled shutters. The ply covering was just a temp while a T-storm passed. It's gone through 2 Tropical Storms already so I'm feeling pretty good about things.

The roof is done thankfully! Built out a small retaining wall because I got worried about the amount of rain washing out the footings. And then set up a 400 gallon cistern for more irrigation. Planning on propagating more banana trees - they grow fast and provide shade! Also going to move our smaller generator shed next to the cistern because it's in a more protected ( from high winds ) area.

Have had a break from work. Been working from home more. Still dealing with what is clearly embezzlement at work - old executive director created a marketing firm in order to pay herself more money from federal grants. She probably should not of left the cashed checks in her office after she was fired! <facepalm> Which leads to me making moves to go back to my old business and get away from the drama and lawyers and the bigger mess to come!

Ironically as I was going through photos for this post I found a work pic of what I was doing prior to the storms. Maybe not as lucrative but certainly more fun. - Pic is from Culebra - Spanish Virgin Islands. US Air Force used to use it for live bombing runs in the 60s and 70s. Still practice tanks around on the beaches.

Thank you everyone for the support on here! I appreciate the support and wisdom shared on this site. I feel like this is the best war-gaming community on the 'net'. Even in the threads were we all dont agree - we all do agree to laugh at each other.
THANK YOU ALL!

@RonBSM Hey shed brother. This is on it's way from the states! let me know what filament you are running? Thinking of ordering a buttload of hatchbox.

I used to enjoy trips to DIY stores like Home Depot.
Now I absolutely dread them because it inevitably ends up adding to my honey due list.

Google / YouTube must be reading my posts again. it served up this lovely recommendation video on how to solve 'the shed dilemma" . Evidently this is not a unique situation and the only solution for losing my new shed to storage is.....
build another shed for the shed. ( thinking about sending this on to me wife, i suppose the divorce letters would soon follow. :ROFLMAO: )

War Shed 2: Electric Boogaloo....
Slight coincidence - Her majesty otherwise known as - she that oversees all hobby spending - has granted me 1 wish.
We met with a professional contractor to finish out Half of the War Shed and turn it into a temporary "home office" ;)nudge nudge wink wink.
Will be receiving finished interior walls, power and the all important Air Con upgrade.

1 half will be tool storage but the other will be all mine I say all mine...... (insert diabolical laughter)
Soon the joys of actually start a hobby project and you know leave it sitting on a desk for a full month untouched will soon be here again.

War Shed... okay. Got it. I'm originally from Washington State and there are people there that pronounce "wash" with an "r".... "warsh". Yes.... they pronounce the name of their own home state incorrectly.... "Warshington".

The point being, when I saw the name of this thread: "Building of the Warshed Thread", I immediately thought "Building of the Washed Thread" ("Warshed" being the past tense of "warsh", which is "wash" in Redneck/Hillbilly Washingtonian.) and was rather confused.
