Necromunda Captain Brown's Showcase of Building and Painting Old School Necromunda - Figures and Terrain

Thank you everyone. It was a real push to finish it before the end of May to get all of it into the Finish Your Stuff Challenge. Trying out the magnets has made me decide I am going to remove at least two (probably all four) I added to the landing pad and add them to the barracks.

Cheers,

CB

So I played a game of old school Necromunda on Monday.

We used about 40% of the terrain I have built and painted for a large game on a 4x4 sized table. I let them pick and place all that they wanted for the game.

Cheers,

Wow very nice use of the old terrain skelletons to make a new and vibrant piece of terrain which will fit nicely alongside the rest of your board. It is nice too to see the old minis getting a look in.

Do you still have the ones from the beginning of this thread? Any chances of putting them together with this for a classic Terrain photo??

Thanks Brendan Flynn and MusingWarboss.

I do have all the previous ones I have built. Working on several more (another square tower, another V tower, and another one of these with a smaller base to save on bulkheads).

Cheers,

I joke about blasphemy, but when assembling my classic card terrain for TribeMeet this year I did find a lot of it is really starting to show its age and fail. particularly the two level towers like you've done above.

It might be time to permaglue some of the buildings together.

You can get non-yellowing scotch tape which can be used to line the edges to give them more strength and less likely to fray. Not so useful for the ones that slide into position though.

Frankly I think the classic card Terrain has done remarkably well - I bet they never thought it’d be still in use almost 20 30-ish (thanks Punktaku!) years later!!
