Sorry Ben, missed your post. Absolutely, use anything you see. I am constantly getting ideas from others. The googly eyes do make a bit of a rattle that you hear when you move the terrain...but you generally do not want to move it during a game.

Ha ha. I stopped doing that for these models, as I drilled five metal Guard armies (Catachan, Steel Legion, three Cadians, a metal Sisters army (all drilled barrels), breaking too many drill bits. So this time I just said #$%^ it.
Although I don't think I drilled Elysians, metal Eldar, or plastic Cadians unless it was a larger barrel.
