N18 Cawdor Campaign progression advice

Hello together,

new player here. We started our very first campaign and i am playing cawdor. The other two gangs are Escher and Squats.

This is my list:

    1. Stub Gun with Dum-Dum Ammo

I have, thanks to some very lucky dice rolls 260 creds to spend.

Things i consider doing with the money: :

Get a Stub gun and a Exterminator for my Leader, just for some extra punch and an extra atack if somebody comes to close to my champion with the crossbow.
Get Mesh Armour for all my gangers and my Champion with the Heavy Crossbow. An extra save roll is never a bad thing
Get Stub Guns and Dum-Dum Ammo for the two naked juves. In the last game, the naked juve just prayed every turn.
Get a Ganger with a Autogun and a exterminator. A bit more "long range" would be nice besides the template weapons and the stub guns.
Get smoke grenades to get close and personal.
Get a second champion with a crossbow to maximize the use of the overseer leader.

What would you do? I am thankful for any tips and suggestions.

i find a scope for the long rifle is good and a cheap knife for everybody to get a second melee dice is a no brainer.
i find an auto pistol can pay off over the stub gun as the chance of multiple rapid fire hits is high.
