Cawdor/GW4 Speculations/Discussions

I could see the start of outlaw gangs in GW 4, to tie the Redemptionists in. In a similar way that Bounty Hunters started in GW2 with skeleton rules, but will apparently be developed more in GW4. Doing something to set up later editions in the current books makes sense.

Sounds like stinging the customer twice for the same rules to me.
Exactly. They seem to have got settled into selling Demo/Testing rules or Previews on the basis that somewhere later down the line they’ll release a more comprehensive set of actual rules.

None of it so far smacks of being complete, it all looks like WIP. Just at a hefty price to be an early adopter.

Starting to teeter on the edge of ‘sump’ worthy griping here folks. Every thread about the new gang wars has bits of complaining about the current release model. We know it’s a bit crappy. If you feel so incensed by it you need to gripe, take it to the sump ;)

(I think ‘take it to the sump’ needs to be a new mod mantra haha!)

Would enjoy seeing a section with hive bestiary and rules for that old nasty wire weed, spine crystals and rubber moss. Come to think of it, I'd like to see a return of the Treacherous Conditions table oh and expanding the territories table with some more variety and flavor.

I'm really curious what they'll do to pad out gw4, i can see Cawdor and maybe bionics introduced in the trading post, maybe more beasts released with some premium priced forgeworld special heroes but what else could they add without stepping on delaque/psyker and outlander stuff? My wish was they'd release Delaque, Cawdor and psykers together with some biinics and a tempered injury chart (every injury roll i take seems to be brutal, bionics are really going to inflate my gang rating)

I really liked gw3 and thought it was relatively good value... i hope they dont go back to an anorexic release like gw2, and if they do the price is adjusted accordingly.

More tiles? Better Hired Guns rules? Reputation/Rating/Turf catch-up tweaking? I like the idea of Bionics, or possibly just admitting that injuries should decrease your gang rating!

Probably new guns and hazards :). More Brutes, 'cos they're easy to do.

I'd love to see less bloody Recovery - I don't seem to get any injury results that don't put me into Recovery, while I only ever put people into Out Cold :D.

Brutes, a character with some psychic ness (so touch upon that but do full customisable psyckers in a later book), Things that use more of the other stats at the end of the profile (everything seems to be cool or Ld currently), missions that have npcs, bionics (possibly linked to a pit slave character leaving the fullness of the gang to a later book too).

@spafe "Bionics (possibly linked to a pit slave character leaving the fullness of the gang to a later book too)."

Fuckin' SQUEE. I'd like to second that. Pit Slaves would be brutal in N17 :D.

@Paupoi - ooh, nice. Almost egyptian vibe from the robes and masks. I love the evil grin on the pistoleer, top-left. Dammint, looks like I'll be adding some cawdor menace to my Venators now :).

Oh my god, i just decided to run an Inquisitor squat in the underhive using the Venator rules but it seems like they'll not gettin paint any time soon :rolleyes:

They look amazing don't they?

They are far too close to the numerous green skinned maniacs I just traded away though.

Waiting for Delaque.

Ok these guys I like, particularly the giant crossbow...

I'm assuming the bill hook will have similar rules to the forge word hired gun but also have the shooting attack
