Didn't they show off the artwork for Cawdor at the last WHF, and then unveiled Cawdor at a smaller event later? It's already been a couple weeks or whatever since Cawdor came out.

Yeah I think so, I think (& this is nothing more than my opinion) that is probably what they'll do this time too, if we see anything.
GW are spinning so many plates at the moment & Delaque likely aren't coming until mid to late November that I think they'll have other stuff that's coming before then they'll want to show like Rogue Trader, Speed Freaks, Underworlds season 2, 40K Orks & possibly whatevers next for Age of Sigmar...
But I would love to be pleasently surprised
No kidding. Tearing down civil war statues left and right what would generation that shall no longer be named as to cause further offense think about Mr. Religous zealot Executioner with pointy hat and noose accessories, optional candles ready for that cross burning ya say?
Personally I wouldn't blame them if they bagged the mini completely. No More Pointy Hats sounds like Monty Python skit but its the world we currently live in.
Last thing we want is more alienation of the hobby.

Can we not use terms like "generation snowflake" or anything incendiary. And can we not suggest that racist policies of the past are not acceptable to critique? That criticism is important. To say otherwise - whether either is ironic or not - is exsctly the attitude that alienates a lot of my generation, my colleagues the generation above me and more so the next generation, the one I teach and work with. f**k, why not just go read "Why I no longer talk to white people about race" before talking about the systemic oppression of non-white people in the west and be a wee bit more conscious how powerfully dangerous shutting down terms like "generation snowflake" are? Yes today is an era of easy complaint - on left and right - but equally it is better reaponded to with proper conversation, not the name-calling that dominates too much fan culture and political discourse today. Thats the key to education - to learning to debate - not silencing incendiary diversion language. If we do that, our community - our very diverse, multicultural, multi-coloured, socioeconimcally diverse community - is really damaged at a critical time.
I don't think that representing bad stuff should ever be a problem.Glorifying bad stuff is the problem. My hometown with kinda big on the triangular trade back in the days. I don't think we have any statue erected to 'honour' the guys who profited from it, but we do have a slavery museum.
The world of 40k is full of extremely bad stuff, even among the 'normal human guys' factions. What with the space nazi communists, the toxic masculinity, the dictatorship, the corruption everywhere? Why is this guy such a problem?
House Cawdor are not the good guys. This guy is (probably) no hero. They are raving fanatics believing that a dead man lightyears away is their god and a bunch of genetically enhanced übersmensh in gold armour are his angels. They are a bunch of poor, easily manipulated people and assorted madmen that would burn to the death any unlucky chap their leader labels an heretic.

The most unfortunate thing I find about that Cawdor character is he has the very best headgear of the House models so far, yet it's not unique enough to justify it as a character. I want a gang of them! Will be emulating that, for sure.
Really, all the open questions in the Dominion campaign I humbly feel is a lot more relevant for this thread than garments of one non puplished ganger.
Who challenges who over wich territoryand so on. And why must it all be played in two times three weeks? Wouldn't it be better to complete the system (and Turf War) instead of giving weird time limits for the campaign?

Well they didn't even tease Delaque or mention Necromunda at nova which is pretty disappointing. Are there any other events coming up where they would give Necromunda attention?
Going off the events calendar on the Warhammer Community page, I'd guess at Spiel in late October as I'm pretty sure GW made some reveals from there last year

Those are fantastic. Decent enough price too. One ForgeWorld won’t match, they’ll probably end up £18 for two from them.
Those look too cutesy and hamster like for me, they wouldn't go too well with a very realistic/gritty Cawdor scheme. I'd rather just convert the old skaven rats, at least those look like warhammer models.
