I really like anvils stuff having bought some shoulder pads, heads and other misc bits from them. The quality is top notch, but clearly they have to walk a fine line with gw IP, hence the 'cute' not fully grimdark look I suspect.

Very nice models, and glad other companies fill the space of models unreleased by GW.

Thinking about it some more it could be Spiel, but usually they preview the next gang while it is still 2-3 months from release. The WHW website says there is an open day september 22nd. I figure this is the soonest we might see the Delaque, and if not there then Spiel is probably a guarantee.
Edit: also bummed this artwork didn't make it into GW 4,
Some other art made the cut but it looks sub par compared to this, not sure what happened there.

Fingers crossed for the 22nd September then, I’m excited to see how they’ll update the classic trench coat and bald head look and how differently they’ll operate to the other gangs.
I’m hoping for combat drugs relating to spook and some net weapons along with stealth tactics.
It probably will turn up in a future book - note how other gangs do continue to be featured in later Gang Wars.
Just an update, Anvil Industries has just released a range of hooded, robed cultists.

For those who don't know Papa Emeritus:
I like them as cultists or even as redemptionists rather than Cawdor.
I always saw Cawdor as the lay people of the church so they don’t get to wear robes or big hats, but rather medieval pants and shirts.
In fact those robed cultists look awfully like the new Delaque miniatures with a head and arm swap.

Dunno. Not sure they even have a timetable for these anymore. I guess we’ll see them around the time the Delaque box is out.
The Delaques might be stuffed until February.
We still haven’t seen the brutes, most pets or hangs on either. We know they’ve made them, at least prototypes.

I think it's likely the Delaque gang will come out before any more brutes or other models get released by forgeworld.
The main N17 minis seem to sit in a strange place between the main model range and the forgeworld models as specialist games are technically under the forgeworld banner, but as they are plastics they get pushed through the main production queue.

The Flamer weapon packs for Cawdor are finally out!
Flavorful, but not very useful pack tbh, no high-tier weapon.
Somebody seem to enjoy the idea that "Cawdor are too poor to afford plasma weapon" I think that is a very wrong way to assume them that way.

Can we assume the shock baton listed in the description is a misprint? I can't account for it in the pictures and it would be a deviation from their house weapon list.
It looks like both the weapon packs are one weapon short if you count the number of weapons shown in the sprues.
Looks like a shock batten from 1 and either a maul or axe from 2.
Top left of the first image - it has a cable running to it and the end looks like the tip of a taser (with a moulded spark jumping between the contacts). Unless that's a chain glaive. It is a deviation though, but it could be in the compilation.
I'd thought that was the chain glaive as it shows up in both packs.
