Ok in my excitement I missed the sprue description mentioning "a variety of hoods, heads". Awesome!
Hmm, they're a cross between scavvies and old cawdor, as expected from the teaser art, but not quite as bad as I was expecting. Interesting huge-crossbow-with-a-rocket-on-it weapon

So, what've we got... Autoguns, Stubguns, Autopistols, Shotgun? (top left), hook things, some kind of RPG crossbow, spiky axe, maul/saw thing, bone knives, molotov cocktails and blunderbusses.
Looks like guns with Melee, too. Might just be visual, might save you a weapon slot by slapping a bayonet on something else. Given IIRC the Redemptionists were the lovies with the flamer cartridges on their Executioners, seems like a good way to broach the bolt-on secondary weapon idea.

Based on the preview art I thought this was gonna be the first of the gangs I wasn't going to like. I kinda like them. Glad they're continuing to make great models.
Very characterful, they're just such a departure that I need some time to process... and wonder what the hell scavvies are going to end up looking like!
Quite fun, I was hoping for a little more variation in zealoty masks as my only nitpick, they look almost Mordheimish?
I’m really enjoying these guys. I think two boxes, with a lot of fun building and painting them.
Big fan of the van Saar models, but didn’t like building them (or the Goliaths for that matter). I felt the sprue dictated the list a little too much. Hopefully these won’t havr the same issue.

Maybe it would be better to keep everything Cawdor-related in the dedicated news thread.
When I first saw the concept art I too was a little reserved thinking they made them look like Scavvies; however, the more I look at these new Cawdor I can begin to understand how if your house is for the most part impoverished and unable to supply you with somewhat decent armor, you are going to want to protect yourself however you can when digging through trash. All the arm and leg wrappings make sense as I'd cover my limbs as best as I could to avoid any cuts.
I got a feeling the Scavvie models when we see them, are going to look perfectly disgusting. Hope they give them some character that screams desperation and misery.

As a former Cawdor player.... I think I'll stay that way. They remind me of Brettonian peasants.

I have to say I like these chaps. Was quite disappointed with the Van Saars but these are much more like it. I like the fact that it's much harder to spot the duplicate poses this time and the quirky, bodged together weapons are pretty cool looking. I particularly like the RPG/PIAT/Crossbow thingy.
