Hey. This is my first gang in a long long time and any sort of feedback is welcome.
Just love the Cawdor unwashed masses aesthetic and HoF really makes thing thematically cooler.

The Father - Priest
Autopistol, Chainaxe, Mesh armour
Commanding Presence

Gabriel - Firebrand
Heavy crossbow, Stub gun, Flak armour
True Grit

Raphael - Firebrand
Long rifle, Flak armour
Nerves of Steel

Abstinence - Brethren Specialist
Polearm/blunderbuss, Flak armour

Charity - Brethren Specialist
Polearm/blunderbuss, Flak armour

Diligence - Brethren
Flail, Stub gun, Flak armour

Kindness - Brethren
Flail, Stub gun, Flak armour

Humility - Brethren
Reclaimed autogun

Patience - Brethren
Reclaimed autogun

Initiate I - Bonepicker
Stub gun

= 1000

If you want to get the most models in a game you need to have at least 3 bone pickers to ake advantage of the unwashed masses rule as you get +1 brethren & +d3 bone pickers in addition to scenario fighter limits. Also putting a long rifle on your specialist to free up champ who can be quite tasty with a great sword if you want some cc punch.

You can also only have one specialist, not 2, at gang creation. Also it seems you have gone pure Cawdor apart from your leader who is a redemptionist, I'm not sure of this was intentional or not for you.

Drop all the flak armor, it's not worth it 6+ save gets melted by a lot of weapons. the crossbow guy doesn't need a stub gun he can use a Krak at close range if he's desperate. If you're focusing on melee with the flail guys I recommend taking reclaimed auto pistols on the chance you score 2-3 hits with is as a side arm in melee. Take at least 3 Bone pickers to maximize gang selection. Firebrands do not have ferocity as a primary skill and can't take Nerves of steel at gang creation (but I wish they could)

How does the greatsword fair on the Firebrand? I thought a ranged weapon would be best in order to make the most of BS 3+?

Have yet to playtest new sword as everything has been packed up ready to move. Once I get new gaming room set up will let you know if you haven't got in first. Quite liking the sever part and the +1to hit for versatile, will be using him to finish off those the mobs have softened up with blaze and perform acts of faith as playing as a with hunter character :)
