Even with the lack of blunderpoles, FOR SHAME!!!!!, that is a fairly good list. Having a cheap special weapon in the long rifle helps. You have your two champions, a heavy crossbow and a small horde as well. Good numbers of Devout Masses fighters for extra bodies on the field. If you get any brute early it can mince the opponent untill they get wise. If you use this gang look to get more Devout Masses fighters as you progress, with blunderpoles, and it should be decent
@daveh all brutes attract extra fire I factor that in as a given for any brute. Every plasma, melta, Lascannon shot they take is one less your heavy crossbow guy doesn't and your firebrand can hide better.

And as always don't get attached to your Ablative armour (bonepickers).

Oooh... glorious painting. I've only painted the wordkeeper and a vehicle but I won't be painting anything for a short while.

My main opponent is GSC and as you might have guessed, he has a mining laser :D But that thing is problem for everyone (especially after new extra critical = fleshwound thing)

Thank you, we might try this list with skirmish games (as there is only 1 semi dedicated player in my playgroup, the rest using my other gangs). This list could get much better in a campaign game where they can add blunderpoles as you suggested

If you go down the blaze route, apparently there are other for Cawdor but that's HERESY!!!!!, consider a cheap firebrand sniper with a bolter and gunk bolts from the trade post them cackle manically with blazes igniting in 2+. Mwahaha!

I'm of the view that the Stig Shambler is one of the only cases for a heavy flamer in Necromunda

The double heavy stubber is nice, but rolling three dice means your statistically likely to jam every other shot, which is also how likely you are to hit. With a heavy flamer your play is more stay under cover, advance rapidly and then S5 template your opponent, anyone not dead or on fire gets a club to the face.
