Great built quality for a great price. They are how ever fairly blanks so i raided my bitzbox and my mates and using plastic card and any thing i could find to help make them a bit more fun.
I have to admit i first started to make them super detailed but i found that it took too long and the models sort of got lost so i did a slighty plainer paint scheme and added some minor details. was super fun and i have another 10 on the go at the moment hoping to get the paint on them done today.
Any way less talking more showing!
on the ends I added a poster - some advice of reporting psykers and some gentle motivation.
and i couldn't resist a miniature to show you scale.
Really loved working on these good fun and break from miniatures
You can always build a medic out of a Catachan or Cadian.. Scion too I suppose, anyway those are ready and cheap. If you want to get more interesting there are loads of cool doctor minis out there that are close. Oh, and the GSC biophagus, I got one of those specifically for the purpose (and do double duty for a GSC gang should one ever be needed).
I want to have 2 of each hanger on, 1 themed Van Saar and 1 generic. But conversions are fun so feel free to go wild.
Yeah, Biophagus would be a cool starting point or bitz source, but would require some work to... well, work, for Cawdor.
I could imagine some sort of shamanistic Necromancer Conversion with old/scavenged equipment and a „simple yet effective“ approach. Bone Saw or Axe at hand (to chop away mutation, if), maybe some kind of robe winch construction to mimic servo arms.
Some kind of preacher could also work, restoring their faith in the Emperor instead of repairing their bodies, for that will happen anyway if He has plans for them.
Maybe this guy could be a nice starting point, replacing the torch with a staff mimicking the one from the Genestealer Cults Biophagus, adding a backpack crammed with „useful stuff“ and a boning knife/crude axe to his belt for amputating limbs?
