N18 Collected Errors/Typos in The Book of Judgement

Exotic beasts can be captured, so knowing if a grynx is sanctioned or not is important, logically it isn't. But maybe it just exists beyond the scope of bounty hunting, who is to say the captors know what they have, and the grynx may be clever enough to hide its

It's probably fine. Just a meltagun with lower AP, scattershot, less accuracy, harder to buy but cheaper, and a versatile CC option. Remember, each illegal weapon brought to a battle has a 1-in-6 chance of getting lawful gangs outlawed.

If you shoot a guy within 6" and roll 6 on the scattershot that's 18 damage which are automatically skulls resulting in 18 lasting injury rolls. I can't wait to shoot someone with this :)

I don't see where it says you have to roll a D6 for bringing a xeno weapon. Is that in the campaign or trade post sections?

Thanks

How much do grenades cost for SLHG pattern assault ram “Sledge hammer”? Are they built into the price of 90? Couldn't find it in their equipment price list and I'm starting to wonder if they forgot to include it.

The grenade launcher part of the assault ram can't be upgraded with additional ammo. Grenade launcher ammo is available, but seems to only apply to the subjugation pattern grenade launcher.

Prices: page 33
Stats: page 100, 101

I don't think it would matter much if you want to house rule that the grenade launcher ammo is available for all grenade launchers (subjugator & assault ram).

looking at the enforcer grenade launcher. stun grenade rounds have grenade rule meaning they have to take ammo rolls every shot every other grenade round doesnt. also they have no blast so just s2 concussion.

Stun grenades and blast have been a question for a while. I've sent it to the FAQ email a couple of times without response and they've had the opportunity to correct it in recent books. I'm just assuming it's intentional at this point though it still seems counter intuitive. I think it helps to think of it more like a beanbag or taser effect than a flash-bang.

I agree, but it's difficult for me to assume anything is intentional. The more I read, it seems much of the content is unintentional.

So stun grenades suffer the same negligence as smoke?

so i guess then the stun grenade part is just to knock someone off super high buildings then, or to set up a flashbang hit

It is hard to say. I'm going to have to compare the cost and abilities of all grenades and grenade rounds before I make a call in my house rules.

I am late to the party on this one, but should I make a similar thread for The Book of Peril? If not where can I find such a list?

Intrigue Stand Alone
Probably an error in the Criteria section. The word enemy should be removed in the first sentence. It makes no sense to choose an enemy Leader or Champion, neither fluffwise nor judging from the reward.
Suggested solution: remove the word enemy before "Leader or Champion".

Intrigues "Cut Off The Head" and "Watch From The Shadows"
It appears as if the editor exchanged the fluff blurb from both intrigues.
Suggested Solution: Exchange the fluff blurb.

Because it is listed as an "auxiliary grenade launcher" for both types, I would assume it is treated as any other weapon with multiple profiles, and they are all built in.

Having looked at stun grenades compared to flash... it is clear to me that their lack of blast (3") is an error in the core book copied here. Added to list.

I found another one!!

Willpower is listed twice on the advancement chart, incorrectly replacing Leadership on the second line.
Suggested solution: change Willpower on the second line to Leadership.

I don't even know how they made that mistake since the rest of this section is just a copy/paste from the Dominion campaign. WTF?

These just keep getting more and more ridiculous, here is one more...

Page 52
The scenario table references page 91 of the Necromunda Rulebook, when it should actually reference the very next section on the same page of the Book of Judgement.
[Suggested solution: replace "page 91 of the Necromunda Rulebook" with " below".'
