I've finally got my hands on my copy of BoR!

Comparing the various Favor tables I find it interesting they are not just copy-pasted with different 'names'. They all somewhat parallel each other, but each table has some better and some worse results.
- On 2: All fabvour tables lose you a fighter on a result of 2, but House and Outlaw tables let you choose a Juve or Ganger to be lost, the Gene stealer table forces you to sacrifice a Ganger type fighter, while the Chaos table sacrifices a Random fighter (any type apparently, so it could even be your Leader) to feed the Chao spawn (if your gang has one) or turns him into a spawn (if the gang didn't already have one). So on this result House and Outlaw tables are 'best.
- On 3-5: House table gets you nothing (but you can retry after the next battle, instead of witing till next week/campaign cycle), Outlaws get a Hive scum that will flee the battle unless the leader keeps passing Ld checks every round to keep it in line, Gene stealers get 100 creds of Unstable/Reckless HWL items, while Chaos gets the chance to reroll their next Dark ritual dice (but if they do any doubles on the dice = double 1s). On this result Gene stealers get on top (since it is sill a guaranteed 100 creds that can be spent on Wargear and melee weapons, to get around the Unstable drawback).
- On 6-8: House and Chaos tables get you 2D6x10 creds of HWL items, Outlaws get 2D6x10 creds of COMMON items, Genestealers get to swap a Neophyte/ganger for an Accolyte/ganger with Third arm (this is a new fighter, so I guess you don't port over any previous XPs). On this result House and Chaos tables have the more generally useful reward, but Genestealers get to 'upgrade a ganger type into a new Champion (Accolyte) or a ganger with third arm at the expense of previously gathered XPs on the swapped fighter, so depending on your gang Gene stealers might have the best reward on this result.
- On 9-10: House table gets you a 'naked' free Juve, Outlaws get a free Juve or Ganger with 60 creds of equipment (why would you ever choose to take a free juve over the free ganger?), Genestealers choose a fighter and said fighter gains a random Primary or Secondary skill while Chaos gets 1-3 free ganger types, but for each free ganger beyond the first all the new recruits must make a roll on the Lasting injury table (meaning that if you take 3 new gangers all 3 will have to roll 2x Injuries each, or if you take just 1 he's uninjured). Again I'd say Gene stealers have the best reward for this result, followed by Outlaw/Chaos tables (roughly equal value) and House table last (a measly free Juve).
- On 11-12: Both House and Outlaw tables get you D3+1 fighters bonus D6 XPs, while both Gene stealers and Chaos tables turn one of your fighters into a Psycher (and let him/her choose 1 psychic power). At this result I'd say the more universally useful reward is the free XPs to multiple fighters, but if your gang has decent Will stats on ganger types, the Gene stealer and Chaos table get you a permanent extra Psycher so here it depends.
- On 13+: House table gets you a permanent free Ganger with 150 creds of equipment and 2D6 XPs, Outlaws get you a Bounty hunter/Drammatis Personae, the Gene stealers get a temporary (only first D3 rounds of next game) Purestrain Genestealer and Chaos get a somewhat convoluted/book-keepy 'Eye of the Gods' special rule for their next battle: anytime a fighter takes an enemy OoA they roll a D6: on 1 they gain no XP from it, on 2-3 they get a cumulative +1 on this roll, on 4+ they get a temporary (only for that battle) +1 on a stat of their choice. For this result I think Chaos has the worst effect (since it risks you 'losing XP gains' for just a temporary benefit), while House table give the best reward (an Experienced ganger +150 creds of equipment that stay with your gang permanently, not just for next battle), while Outlaw table is second best (it explicitly lets you hire an Outlaw Drammatis personae, that might stay with the gang for multiple games).
In general I would say Outlaw favour table is the most 'generally reliable' to get you a 'useful' reward regardless of your gang, but if you have a decent Will stat across the gang then I'd say Gene stealer cult favour table is the best and can get you the most valuable rewards on average rolls, while Chaos favor table might be the worst table if you have bad Will (Goliath Psychers aren't particularly impressive).
