Adeptus Arbites shuttle finished. Pretty happy with it, used it as a test run for colors (muted, but classic Dredd) for my Arbiters that I'll paint up next month.

Finally got some progress done on the piggies.
I wasn't sure how much I wanted to "dress them up". At first I was afraid to go overboard, but then I thought, "Mordheim IS over the top", so here we are. Working on some bases now.

Lovely progress and finished models coming out now.

For my part, I've just taken a hot wheels Honda Civic out of the paint stripper and started offering up various wheel and weapon options to see if inspiration strikes. Which it sadly hasn't, and barely warrants a WIP photo... although as you can see that didn't stop me taking one anyway.

I need to take the plunge and start cutting up the car body so it can fit that giant jet engine in the back. Once that's done the build might start to take on some momentum and "build itself", to some extent. The source of the jet engine is lost in the mists of time but I want to say it was some sort of specialist scale replica of a quite early engine. Needless to say, one is unlikely to be found working in a post apocalyptic combat car but I loved the detail on it and thought it would make a very cool Gaslands drag racer (for all of the 1-2 turns it can expect to survive before spectacularly blowing up).

I also realised that with said jet engine in the back, the engine bay at the front is freed up to mount weaponry, so opening up possibilities beyond the usual bonnet/roof/door mounted guns.

The problem is that hot hatches in general are pretty rare and this civic is no exception. I waited years until one came on ebay for an acceptable price, so I am very wary about making a cut or modification that I can't come back from, if that makes sense.
