After a short, somewhat fruitless local search I ended up with this little piece from the local Dollar Store.

Construction is already underway and I'm already quite pleased with the direction it's going.

Progress has begun on the Orkrus Venatar:

I nabbed a driver off an old Gorkamorka truck after my original plan to use a Kromlech one was ruined by them being out of stock everywhere. I had to raise up the seat with some sprue pieces and make some pedals so he would fit. I still need to make a steering column and add some dials to the dash (which are completely absent from this model).

I will probably make my own roll cage out of sprue rather than use the one from the buggy as it's a bit too well manufactured for Ork tastes. I also don't think that I'm not going to use the turret but will instead make a fighting platform for my Boyz.

I bought these at a shop called Action (or it might have been Tedi), thinking that it is a good scale and I could use them at some time. Now should be the perfect opportunity but I can’t think of anything at the moment.

My Cadillac base model has been in the hands of Evri for a week now with no sign of it moving. Jury's out whether they can deliver it in the next five weeks.

Ok, no guarantees of progress, but I think I'll have a go.

I already have plenty of Hot Wheels cars, so I did think I could try using one of those. But yesterday I was in Lidl and impulse bought another that I thought would suit this comp. Opening it up, I realised it might need more work than I thought, so I'll probably end up raiding my old stash anyway...

If I do get anywhere, it will be in my plog.

I'm not sure a Spartan is big enough. I'll see what happens anyway and try not to buy a baneblade to race.

Also why does this come in so many parts😒

Yes but that makes even less sense than usual as there's no dynamic pose/leaping off a rock which requires so many parts in order to keep the detail and avoid undercuts.
The only explanation I can think of is space on the sprue. At least I hope it's that and not just because they're messing with us

Just wait until there’s the inevitable resin upgrade kit which slots in replacing or extending one of these sections…

They are…

WiP of my racing sand crawler cargo thing.

It was bootlegger's who helped get automobile racing off the ground. So racing vehicles that can make deliveries are a thing right?

Obviously I'm just shoehorning my vehicle build for the race at tribemeet into this comp. But I will add some racing stripes or something on the paint job.

The courier has lost my base model and now I'm not sure what I want to do for this one.

I have an Atalan Jackal box I got years ago that I used a single part from - perhaps I'll do a racing quadbike?

😳

Well, I hope the courier enjoys building your model, or gets a good price for it on eBay. 😏

Seriously… how do they manage to lose packages so often… are you getting compensated by the company for the loss??
