Feeling hot, hot, hot...

Someone or something involving extreme heat. This could be the deserts of Angelis, working a furnace, or simply carrying a meltagun/flamer.

Competition closes on midnight 6th July (actually 7th as usual).

Usual rules apply except where they don't.

We're mixing it up a little so we're going to invite 1st-3rd places and the Fastest entry of Comp 56 to suggest entries:

Inspired by the current UK weather, I suggest:

My squad is ready, but I still need a command crew for the shuttle.

Create a team of officers, medics, quartermasters, mechanics etc. everything you need to lead the next mission.

There’s Your Problem…

Mechanic, tech, doctor, accountant, etc model the diagnoser of a problem be they one or many for the game/setting of your choice. Bonus point for a photo of the finished model(s) with “the problem “.

A model or models that, despite being armed and able, have a welcoming -or even friendly- demeanor.

The choosening has been completed! It was the option I had the least concrete idea for, but after some thinking, I remember a potential heavy plasma gun (or Sun Gun, so very hot!) and a druchii sorceress generously deposited in my bits box by @Pagumb. She might just be a perfect fit as an Escher heavy for my Daughters of Nakano gang.

So I'm in! With an entry that is provisionally called "Settings on max!"

So I have a concept that I could make work, butttttt… lore-wise it doesn’t make sense. The idea is based on the minis that I have.

A khorne warmaster with his sorceress queen console.

So either I make the lore fit the faction that I want, or make something that doesn’t fit the faction I want to work on.

If it was Age of Sigmar then Khorne is very dominant in Aqshy, the realm of fire, so that would fit perfectly. If it's not AoS then Khorne is hotblooded and has a fiery temper. That works.

or lorewhise you could create 'frozen/frosty' models with an incandescent weapon? adds contrast to accentuate the theme

edit: i am boldly painting plastic spoons to see how airbrushcontrol, masking fluid & different thinners work...
will get practical results some day...

I'm in, going to do 3 kinds of Hot inspired by comp 9 "Triple Age of Trouble" and maybe a little by a few peoples 15yrs birthday posts. A Goliath Juve, Ganger & Leader.

Juve needs a Hand Flamer, Leader is currently being stripped. And The ganger is good to go. Sure he's also packing some hot shots too.
