i started working on the second idea i got from @MusingWarboss. Still hoping to find that very specific piece, because this here second idea should be a quick one. While i like my original idea better, this one amuses me.

I'm going to need a miracle... I haven't even started the spooky part, let alone finished the ruined church, and I've got Saturday reserved for some Necromunda action.

I started painting mine but then got a new job and it's leaving me cream-crackered. I am hoping to get some awakeness and motivation to finish this weekend.

I suspect given that I’ve got to do a lot of spraying of texture paint and the fact that this week is solid rain here that I won’t get my submission done in time.

However I’ll get it into the sub assemblies that it will need and it can become part of the great Winter MDF build that I’ll be doing. So it will get finished eventually as I planned on doing something like this for a while now!!

I’m sure the day the comp ends will be the day I find the very specific piece I wanted. Even if I found it today, I wouldn’t be able to make the entry as it requires sculpting. If I find it, I’ll most likely make it anyway. I liked the idea.

"Hive Possession"

Tried to make it a combination of a Human/Corpse/Servitor that has become possessed/corrupted with parts of the Hive. Cogs, Metal, Cables. Ended up happy with the end result. More pics will be in my WIP thread.

While time and weather have defeated my chances of getting anything in for the end of this competition - I will get it done eventually!!

I think overall though after a few initial head scratches over the theme we’ve actually ended up with lots of really good imaginative entries!! I’m looking forward to seeing the whole entry list when it’s compiled!!
