But seriously folks, anyone play Inq28? Do they have hired guns, and if so, are sisters repentia considered one? I’m not sure if I should continue posting these here or switch them to my regular WIP thread. View media item 121360
Other than the Inquisitorial acolytes pretty much everyone will be a hired gun of some description in Inquisitor. There was an official 54mm Sister Repentia model too.
I have realised the competition description mentioned converted stuff. Ooops! Oh well, the things I planned to enter are painted and out of the way so I can work on my Secret Santa thingy. At least it's some progress towards the FYSC.

Inquisitors hire mercenaries, scum, bounty hunters and the like. Most warband members though are formal members of the warband, in the employ of the inquisitor, indentured, requisitioned, followers, trainees, devotees.
Sisters definitely fall into the “requisitioned” category - being members of the sororitas and thus called upon when needed, particularly by the ordo hereticus. And what’s more their whole gig is, well, repenting for their sins by seeking a glorious death in the service of the imperium. Taking payment in the process might be considered to slightly compromise the purity of the act!
I would say that if they are temporary members then it could be justified as hired help. Or if they were sent as a favour to a rogue trader, not to an inquisitor for the benefit of the Imperium?
So Migi and Hidori are at the point they need touch-ups and small details. There’s some suspicion they may not be true Sisters Repentia as one is clearly carrying a pistol. View media item 121467
